  1. Danville runs the clock and gets one game closer to the carpet...them boys can play
  2. Williamsburg is a very tough place to get a road win, especially during playoff time. I think everything hinges on how well they defend Hazards running game. I'm going with Hazard sneaking out a 28-21 W.
  3. Harris hands down. Starting RB for pre-season #1, defending national champs, and a position that has produced Heisman contenders and two winners since Sabah took the reigns...Roll Tide
  4. I see your point and it would be the most plausible solution. However, this would be a big set back for small schools. Virtually removes some solid teams out of the chance for a title run based solely on enrollment. As an advocate for small schools, I think the current class system gives us the most even playing field possible. But I do agree with reconfiguring the qualifications for making the playoffs. I don't know what could be done other than awarding byes or going back to inter-district playoffs (which was awful), but I'm all ears if you have something better?
  5. Has the POTENTIAL to be a great game depending on which Cville team shows up. If it's the one similar to last years in this round I look for it to be another great game. Due to Russellvilles consistency all year I think you have to give them the edge going in
  6. Caverna has a few very nice skill players, BUT look for this one to be put away early by Russellville. I concur 100% that their biggest concern should be to get out of this one injury-free
  7. My understanding is that the pentalty had to occur during the play for Campbellsville to be given the first
  8. Campbellsville got hosed on a weak pass interference call on a td pass where both kids were battling for a ball. That call single handledly changed the game and Bethlehem capitalized like good teams do. Cville players did lose their cool but as a fan I couldn't really blame them based on pentalty ratios. And just for the record there wasn't any coaches thrown out.
  9. Should Russellville be considered in bumping Pikeville for that #3 spot? I understand Pikeville lost to a very good Paintsville team in OT, but the Panthers are looking mighty tough at this point and seem to be a serious contender to challenge Beechwood in the West. Especially with the addition of Johnny Drumgole.
  10. Only way TC becomes a serious contender, or just a force in their area for that matter, is to steal a page from the basketball team and bring in a TON of talented players. Not out of the realm of possibilities, but with the probation issues they better tread lightly. I think Dudley will realize soon he isn't going to have the same level of success at TC and gets out.
  11. Monroe wins this one in convincing fashion and improve to 3-1. This team will be tough out come playoff time!
  12. It is a fact. Just like it's also a fact that he had his team turn their backs to Cville as the player/team awards were given. Love the call by Cville to score and pretty sure many across the state would probly agree with it also.
  13. I believe that the Eagles run away with this one and get that 4-0 start. This team has proved they can win in a variety of different ways against very different opponents. They have talented players all over the field on both sides of the ball and seem to be set on making a serious playoff run this season. I believe we will really find out how good this team is when they make the trip to Danville in two weeks.
  14. Not a chance Adair beats E-town. The Panthers are just too good, even for a very talented Adair team. I think 9-1 is a lock though and I could potentially see the Indians winnning 1-2 games in the playoffs.
