  1. Sounds like a great hire by Ryle. Hopefully he is able to continue the upward trend there.
  2. Who is Bob Pifer? My understanding is that the Ryle Girls Soccer program could surprise a lot of teams this next year.
  3. True, but the problem I think the Camels had was utilizing possession of the ball. The girls had a tendency to just kick to space instead of putting their passes on feet. It's ok to pass and charge sometimes, but in order to beat a good team possession is the key. Possession parlays your chances for more goals.
  4. I agree, there was no intent, however the game should have been played at a better venue after officials looked at the field?
  5. West jessamine was the the better team even though the Camels could have won. The issue is not the teams but the field and site in general. Poorly sanctioned state event. It (Event) and the girls on both teams deserved more.
  6. The field was in really bad shape. When you have to take a little red wagon (Radio Flyer) around the field filled with dirt to fill holes that is a problem.:idunno:
  7. Tough match for the Camels. The girls played hard in tough conditions. Congrats on a great season. West Jessamine had a very good, skilled team-congrats. Oh by the way, the athletic department at West Jessamine should be embarrassed about the field conditions, the stands with geese crap and garbage all over them, and the conditions of their restrooms. Not a good place to play a a state sanctioned game.
  8. Just to throw it out there but aren't most soccer scholarships partial? Divide a college soccer program $ among 25 players? By the way Camels nice job. You outplayed them and deserved to win. Way to step up. Everyone, please give credit where credit is due.:dancingpa
  9. Nice win by the Camels over a good team. Next up NDA. Thoughts?
  10. The fans do not pay to watch the refs. They pay to watch the players. Too many times the refs feel like they are the "show" when they go running at a player to give them a card or do something else to draw attention to themselves. Anyone who has been around soccer or sports in general know exactly what I mean.
  11. A well officiated match is one where the ref's are not even noticed.
  12. What in the wide, wide world of sports happened?
  13. Wow Anderson isn't even in the top ten in Cincinnati Coaches' Poll. How the heck did the bluebirds lose? Why all the negativity all of sudden when after defeating CCHS everything was unicorns and bunny rabbits?
  14. The time issue I can see, however a simple explanation of what the ref saw would probably eliminate some of coaching and referee issues. Most times soccer refs won't even explain what happened during a card issue. A normal call needs no discussion. Communication could be better by both parties in most cases.
