gametime is there a recruiting site you work with? I usually use 247 for football, just wanted to see if they are as reliable for basketball.

Varner is scared to do anything. When JT said some of us are game changers and some of us are just filling space he should have been addressing Varner not Michaela.

I thought it was hilarious. I'd be mad as hell if I was the one being blamed for it, but as a viewer it was funny and a brilliant move.

I shouldn't have included the word very in front of good. He's a good shooter. Have you watched Diallo play in person?

I think all great players which Lonzo certainly would qualify as, think they're the best. I don't have anything wrong with Lonzo not disagreeing with his dad. I would only have a problem if Lonzo came out and said the stuff his dad has.

Not the same people at all. The people burning couches are college students. The people calling him are grown men with families, wives, kids, careers. It's sad really.

How could someone actually make that call to his business threatening to kill him? What level of insanity does that require?

No idea. If he decides to leaves they're really going to struggle in my opinion. They've got a good class coming in and may add a few more pieces. But I know I would want nothing to do with the program as long as Lavar is hanging around. Lonzo is good enough to put up with it, but the younger two probably aren't.

UCLA is going to be an absolute mess next year. They lose Alford their senior leader and Ball their best player. Then they gain another Ball who is nothing more than a role player off the bench at best and Lavar is still there. No way they make it to Christmas without a media escalated battle between Alford and Lavar about Leangelos PT. It's going to be like a really bad reality show.

I think he has the skill set. He averaged 12 this year I don't think in 2 years it's out of the realm of possibility that he averages 19. Especially since he just now learned how to shoot outside of 5 feet. If he could shoot ~70% from the FT line I think he could average 19 a game. He has shown the ability to get to the basket already and that's with guys backing off of him. I'm not saying it's going to happen, I'm just saying that I think he...

He's a better shooter than Briscoe, but it took him 3 years to develop into the player he was this past year. Briscoes ceiling may not be that high because Mason may still win player of the year so it's hard for anyone's to be that high. But I think Briscoe could easily be an 19/7/6 type of guy if he stays. But overall I think it's a good comparison because they are both developmental type players who need 4 years in college to be able to make...

Diallo is a very good shooter. He's not quite as good of a shooter as Monk, but he's bigger than Monk and equally as athletic.

So without the injury he's probably an early 2nd maybe late 1st. That's a pretty good value pick.

Here is an alternative route to get another great TE for a much better value. Where is Jake Butt projected? I know he isn't going to play this year, but before he got hurt I thought he was the best TE not named OJ Howard. Any thoughts on taking a gamble on Butt?

There are tons of players who have played for Cal who I did not think had games that translated well to the NBA. To each his own, maybe I'm seeing things that aren't there. But the only problem I see in Briscoe is confidence. He's never going to be a pure knockdown shooter, but if he can keep the defense honest going forward I think he has a decent career in the league.

Right now I don't think Briscoe is even draftable. But he has the potential to be. We saw him be able to get to the basket at will during stretches all while having every defender play 10 feet off him because he can't shoot. He made strides shooting the ball this year, the newfound confidence could do wonders for his game. I think he could be a great leader for this team next year and play himself into a much better draft position than he...

I can't fault a kid for trying to jump at any NBA opportunity, but to me I think he could come back and have a huge year for Kentucky and greatly increase his stock. He just now started to get some semblance of confidence in his jumper. If he can prove to be able to knock that down consistently, he could work himself up to be a potential lottery pick.

Briscoe isn't sitting the bench. Maybe drop Diallo to the 3, Briscoe at 2, Green at 1, Gabriel at 4, Richards at 5. I could see that potentially.

My 2 favorites fields to play at when I played were Shelby County and Harrison County. Maybe I missed it somewhere but I'm surprised to not see Shelby mentioned yet.

Unless something unforeseen happens with one of the Big 3 from this year. It is Diallo's team next year IMO. Having this 1/2 year under his belt to learn from Fox and Monk will be extremely valuable. If we sign Mo Bamba. Woah.

Would Kennard and Allen benefit from coming back? I had pegged them both as returners and I'm kind of shocked to see them being mentioned as early entrants by the majority on here.
