New Orleans is really tough to beat at home so since the NFC will likely run through New Orleans I’ll lean the Saints. In the AFC I don’t have the slightest clue. I think San Diego is probably the best team right now but they will likely be the 5th seed and winning 3 straight road games is a tough path to maneuver. Gun to my head I’ll take the Saints and the Patriots.

Personally I think Fields is better than Martell, but that much better may be a stretch because we’ve seen relatively little of both of them on a college field.

Just trying to say what I think his thought process is. There are a bunch of places he can go and basically be guaranteed to start whenever he’s eligible to play. I just don’t see an elite talent like Fields choosing that route. He chose Georgia before Eason left for Washington and Fromm was coming off a great freshmen season. I don’t see him leaving Georgia so much as an indictment on him not wanting to compete. I think he wants to compete, I...

Not sure what you’re getting at with that? Obviously he wants to play and put up numbers, but the schools that will develop him the best are the schools that are competing for titles. I’m not sure what his goals are but I would imagine the NFL is at the top. It’s not coincidence that the schools that are competing for titles are also the teams that put the most players in the NFL.

Fields is an elite talent. He wants to go somewhere that he can win a championship and make it to the next level. I’m not sure of any school that matches that criteria that Fields could walk right in to and be the man.

Depends on whether or not Fields is granted his waiver and is able to play immediately. If Fields can play immediately then I would imagine him and Tate will battle it out in camp and if Fields wins Tate will likely transfer. I don’t think it’s a foregone conclusion Fields will beat out Tate though. If Fields doesn’t get his waiver is where it will get interesting. Tate will be the clear cut starter going into next year, if he plays well like I...

Logically it makes sense that they wouldnít be prepared. Nothing about that game would suggest UCF would win, but they did. I think Auburn not having the same enthusiasm about playing the game is the most logical conclusion.

“The most prepared team will win.” This quote applies pretty well to the UCF/ Auburn game last year. No doubt when Auburn players got out on the field that they played hard, but did they put in the work for the month leading up to the game? Did they spend the extra time watching film? Did they spend that half hour after practice on the Jugs machine? I’m sure on Gameday the Auburn players were ready to go and played hard, but we all know that...

I agree it’s a stretch at this point. He’ll take all his visits no doubt and may very well end up at a school no one is even talking about right now. Oklahoma makes the most sense for him personally. Murray is gone and that offense suits his skill set perfectly.

If they hadn’t declined the games against Florida then it may have. After this incident UCF has turned me off of them completely. Their administration and fans are absolutely delusional.

Oh I highly disagree with that. If UCF beats LSU I fully expect them to have their own t shirts made that say national champs instead of the fiesta bowl champ shirts.

Quincy Avery, Haskins, and Fields are tight. No doubt he sees the development from Haskins since being under Days tutelage. Hopefully that’s enough to get Fields to Columbus. He’s Terrelle Pryor 2.0.

This. Turning down 3 games against Florida, the premier or at least tied for the premier program in your state. Turning down 3 games against an SEC opponent. I don’t care where those games are played, play them. Would UCF have had a legit case to make the playoff if they had played and beat Florida this year? Potentially. I think the case would have been strong and in some years they may even make the playoffs. When all the talk from UCF has...

I think all coaches are open to the idea, because expansion is inevitable. Based on how he’s talked in the past, Urban seems to prefer 4 teams or even the old BCS system. He’s a traditionalist when it comes to the landscape of the sport.

That may very well be the case, but public perception is public perception. The way UCF responded after beating Auburn was ridiculous.

I think UCF is at least partially to blame for their no lose situation. Nobody questioned Boise States win over Oklahoma, nobody questioned Utah’s win over Alabama, or Houston’s win over Florida State.

The rumor is he’s applying for immediate eligibility. Playing behind Fromm may not be his only issue with Georgia though.

Dabo and Urban both said it this year. Urban said it right after it was announced Ohio State got left out. Saban has mentioned it in the past but I don’t know if he was asked the question this year.

By favorites I meant players that were favorites on their first season. Hatch, Rudy, Tina, Jerri, Colby, Rob C, Jenna M, and Ethan were all gone early. I disagree with that sentiment wholeheartedly, just repeating to you what I read.

Only possible explanation I could see is Fields and his attorney using the video of the UGA baseball player saying a racially derogatory word about Fields. The baseball player said yelled the word during a game when Jake Fromm wasn’t playing poorly and the player yelled, “put Fields in”. Instead of Fields, the player used the racial slur. I’m not sure if this is a strong enough case to garner immediate eligibility, but it’s worth a shot in...

There is some talk that Fields may have a case for immediate eligibility if he transfer. No idea what his case is though. But the family has hired the same attorney that was able to give Shea Patterson immediate eligibility at Michigan this year.

Jackson doesn’t have to look very far to find a very good example of what his future looks like if he keeps running 15-20 times a game and doesn’t learn to stay in the pocket.

I’m in agreement with you. We can be intensely frustrated with the organization and still enjoy going to games and rooting for the team. The two don’t have to be mutually exclusive.

It’s not just an SEC thing, but the SEC definitely is the one that practices it the most. I agree, it’s absolutely criminal.

I’d narrow the list to these 5 schools based on reports and Fields relationships: - Florida State (listed in report) - Oklahoma (listed in report and has had two straight transfers win Heisman trophy) - Ohio State (listed in report and has same QB coach as Haskins) - Penn State (previously committed) - Miami (Pretty good relationship with Jadon Haselwood 5 Star 2019 WR who is deciding between UGA and Miami)

It’s an league wide SEC rule I believe. There are ways around it, but Georgia is going to block him from going to any school on their schedule next year.

Of the 3 teams he’s reported to be interested in (FSU, OU, and OSU), FSU is definitely the team that needs him the most.

Haskins is as good as gone. OSU is just fine at QB though without Fields. Martell is going to be a stud, Baldwin while not a super hugely recruited guy was handpicked by Ryan Day over some more highly recruited guys, and we have Dwan Mathis coming in 2019 and Jack Miller coming in 2020. But with that said, give me Justin Fields all day everyday. Dude is gonna be really good. Think Terrelle Pryor 2.0.

Surprisingly, All Stars is not a well received season from a lot of the survivor fanbase. I’m in agreement with you that I thought it was hilarious and a great season. The explanations I’ve heard as to why people don’t like it: 1) The Hatch and Sue incident 2) All of the favorites got voted out early. Personally I love it and think it’s a fantastic season that builds the mystique around one of the best and most entertaining players ever.
