Obviously fine supporting a guy that we still have no idea what actually happened. Yeah us Ohio State fans are just horrible people for believing our coach is innocent until proven guilty. Please.

If Urban serves any suspension or they view it as time served, then itís simply because he lied at Big 10 media days something I believe taking 3 weeks off camp is more than adequate punishment for. I didnít think that was the issue we were discussing so correct me if Iím wrong. If he failed to act properly or there is anything that appears like a cover up whether it be systematic or confined to the football offices I believe he will be fired....

That was definitely by design. We’ll find out what they found at some point. Any leaks of info from the investigation before it’s finished would compromise the integrity of the investigation itself.

If you did, what I said doesn’t jive with your narrative. I want to hear what the committee found one way or another and I’m going to be content with whatever they decide as long as they provide us with the details. I’m not sure how that warrants a “just win baby” response :idunno: Clearly I hope Urban did nothing wrong, but if he did then the university should move in a different direction. Please construct a more lukewarm take for me to have...

I could see where you would think that if you didn't have the context of my first post in this thread. So you're darn right I hope Urban did nothing wrong because I want to win. Time served is essentially no suspension so you bet thats what I'm rooting for. There isn't a scenario where there is evidence of wrong doing on behalf of Urban and he still keeps his job. Even my opinion that he will serve some sort of suspension is going to be based on...

I was just pointing out that OSU has a long history of firing great coaches. They've made it clear that the university is above the football program.

Looks about right to me. - I would imagine Ohio State and Wiscy would be flipped if the situation at OSU wasn't taking place, but its not like they can ignore that. - Texas being in the pre season top 25 is kind of laughable to be honest. - I'm not really sold on Miami so they are definitely my pick for top 10 team most likely to be out of the top 25 by seasons end. - Boise State will be top 10 at the end of the year. - LSU is the 3rd...

The last 4 previous Ohio State coaches are hall of famers and all 4 have been fired by Ohio State. If you think the university will stick it's neck out to protect Urban Meyer if he didn't act in a way they deem appropriate, then you are mistaken.

Just so everyone is on the same page for what to expect. The board met with the investigative team today to discuss the details of the investigation. The board is now fully aware of all of the details of the case and has all of the information the investigative team has. They were required to give 24 hours notice to the public of a "executive committee" meeting where they will meet privately with President Drake to discuss as JD alluded to...

I'm expecting a suspension personally. Maybe thats just me preparing for the worst and hoping for the best. The one thing I can say, is at this point, I don't think OSU could have handled this situation any better and if nothing else OSU has set a new precedent for how universities will handle situations like this going forward. That said, I'm content with whatever decision comes available as long as they tell us what the findings were. I don't...

He started the first 2 pre season games. Just seems sort of odd timing to me. Usually when a veteran like Iloka gets cut it’s early in camp so the player will have an easier time finding a landing spot. I mean why start him in the pre season just to cut him?

I mean if you don’t think OSU fans are going to let Bama fans hear after years of them telling us we aren’t any good because “we don’t play nobody” then you just don’t know us at all. A schedule never has and never will decide what makes a great football team. Maybe, finally, some of the Bama people will understand that.

I really don’t care that much about Bamas schedule tbh. I just think it’s funny that after all of these years about complaining about other teams schedules being soft (particularly teams from a certain Midwest conference) that whenever Bama has an easy schedule the fan base tries to brush it off. I’m not saying this is you I’m just saying the fanbase in general. The irony isn’t lost on me.

ND could get in with 1 loss if there are multiple 2 loss champs. I also think UCF can get in this year if they go undefeated.

Let’s be real, Bamas schedule is really soft this year. Burrow has 2 years of eligibility left I believe.

If Joe Burrow is as good as I expect him to be, then I don’t think Bama makes it out of Baton Rouge with a win. LSU has played them really close 2 years in a row without a QB. Granted Jalen Hurts was playing QB for Bama not Tua. But heard an interesting discussion on the radio yesterday about Tua. The dude is a gun slinger. He can do things that Jalen Hurts can only dream of. Most importantly he can go out and win a football game with his arm....

I don’t know about Penn State being overrated, just untested. Like I said earlier, pretty similar to OSU in 2016. Return their QB and a bunch of unproven, but highly touted young guys. Michigan State is where they are this year because they have a pretty decent QB. Lewerke can play and he’s mobile, I just think people are excited about that dynamic playing out in East Lansing. They may be slightly overrated though.
