I mean if you don’t think OSU fans are going to let Bama fans hear after years of them telling us we aren’t any good because “we don’t play nobody” then you just don’t know us at all. A schedule never has and never will decide what makes a great football team. Maybe, finally, some of the Bama people will understand that.

I really don’t care that much about Bamas schedule tbh. I just think it’s funny that after all of these years about complaining about other teams schedules being soft (particularly teams from a certain Midwest conference) that whenever Bama has an easy schedule the fan base tries to brush it off. I’m not saying this is you I’m just saying the fanbase in general. The irony isn’t lost on me.

ND could get in with 1 loss if there are multiple 2 loss champs. I also think UCF can get in this year if they go undefeated.

Let’s be real, Bamas schedule is really soft this year. Burrow has 2 years of eligibility left I believe.

If Joe Burrow is as good as I expect him to be, then I don’t think Bama makes it out of Baton Rouge with a win. LSU has played them really close 2 years in a row without a QB. Granted Jalen Hurts was playing QB for Bama not Tua. But heard an interesting discussion on the radio yesterday about Tua. The dude is a gun slinger. He can do things that Jalen Hurts can only dream of. Most importantly he can go out and win a football game with his arm....

I don’t know about Penn State being overrated, just untested. Like I said earlier, pretty similar to OSU in 2016. Return their QB and a bunch of unproven, but highly touted young guys. Michigan State is where they are this year because they have a pretty decent QB. Lewerke can play and he’s mobile, I just think people are excited about that dynamic playing out in East Lansing. They may be slightly overrated though.

That was exactly what I was hoping for. My knowledge on Pac 12 football is based solely on what I watch at 10:30 on Saturday nights in the fall. Other than that it might as well be a different country because people in the Midwest and south act as though the Pac 12 doesn’t exist (see plantmans post earlier in this thread for proof)

I'll have to agree with the Montgomery Inn take. I'll start by saying I don't dislike it. I just don't think its as great as most people think it is. I love going to the boathouse because of the views, the memorabilia, etc. but the food is just average at best. The idea of upscale barbecue is just sort of odd to me and always has been. The best barbecue places are usually mom and pop restaurants that have giant smokers out back. I'm not a huge...

I’m with you 100%. Oklahoma is a destination job. He’s going to be there a while unless the NFL comes calling. He’s recruiting at a high level and in the Big 12 Oklahoma is guaranteed 10 wins just for showing up.

The young guys struggling with accuracy and focusing on distance is a direct result of Tiger. Tiger never has been an accurate driver. He’s always been hit it a long way and go find it off the tee kind of guy. His iron game was/ is just on a level where it doesn’t really matter if he hits the fairway. Outside of the US Open you aren’t really penalize for missing the fairway. The big difference between old Tiger and Tiger today is he doesn’t have...

First time all week we agree 100% on something. Chipotle is ridiculously good. Definitely make it a point to eat there for lunch at least once a week.

Admittedly I’ve been to a Longhorn 1 time so maybe I should give it another shot.

Iím not sure how close they are though. They have some talent, but I would be scared that the last 3 games of the season last year is more who Miami is than the first 11 games.

If done properly medium is perfect for any steak IMO. I’ve never attempted to order a steak rare at a restaurant. I usually do medium rare at a places like TR and it comes out medium well 90% of the time. I’m scared if I order rare that it will come out raw. Haha I’ll take the risk next time.

Usually that’s coach speak. Jim Harbaugh said he doesn’t know who’s going to start at Michigan either when we all know it’s going to be Shea Patterson.

They return 4 starters from what most considered to be a bad offensive line line year. They should be better. Penn State has recruited well and is a talented team and I personally think they are a top 5 team in the country, but this is all speculation on mine and yours part. Penn State definitely has the most question marks.

If I’m in the mood for steak most of the time I’m grilling one myself (so I know it’s done correctly) or I’m going to one of the upscale steakhouses. Occasionally I’ll eat at a chain steakhouse I.e. Outback, TR, Longhorn but I rarely have had a steak I considered to be really good. Plus anytime you go to a chain place an order a ribeye it’s usually thin so it almost always comes out medium-well at best. So IMO they’re all overrated.

Jimbo was just on that list by default. He isn’t winning one at A&M because he’ll likely never be better than the 4th best team in his division.

Penn State also lost their OC to Miss St so at least on the offensive side of the ball itís hard to tell what to expect from them with a new OC. The noise at OSU is going to be silenced one way of the other no later than Sunday and most likely tomorrow.

The 2 best candidates IMO are Kirby Smart and Lincoln Reilly. But let’s say that the 4 guys I mentioned win the next 3-4 (which is relatively likely) my money would be on Chip Kelly.
