I got a Wilson A2000 one year that I used for 4 years of HS ball and still have and it’s in pristine shape. A well taken care of, quality baseball glove can last forever.

The offer isn’t from UofL. It’s for UofL. When Petrino left, any offers cease to exist unless the new coach wants to offer the same players in which case he has to re-offer the player. UofL is not affiliated with the offer. They are giving the coach the ability to offer players. The offer is from the coach so if the coach is no longer employed by the university the coach doesn’t have anything to offer.

UofL isn’t offering kids scholarships. Bobby Petrino offered a scholarship to a kid to play football at UofL. The offer is from Petrino, not the University. UofL is under no obligation to any commit until they sign on the dotted line.

Went back and researched this thing and I forgot a lot of details about it. Stuart Scott basically narrated the games. Every time you made a shot, Scott would do a voiceover with one of his signature catchphrases. I spent so many hours downstairs with my friends playing this. Eventually we took down all the sides and would just use it as a hoop and play 1 on 1 games in my basement. I got in more fights as a kid playing this game than anything...

It wasn’t my first bike, but I do remember getting my first “big kid” bike for Christmas. Probably my favorite thing I got though was this ESPN pop a shot type thing. It had a basketball hoop, then a soccer goal on the bottom and then a hole in the middle to throw a football or baseball through. That thing was cool. Hands down the best gift I ever got as a kid.

That’s perfectly reasonable. I agree completely. Let’s say for instance Alabama went independent for whatever reason, they would likely be considered as a 1 loss non conference champ over a 1 loss conference champ simply because they are Alabama. Some people would say that’s not fair, but personally I don’t have an issue with that because Bama has earned that caché. Bama would be the only team in the country that would be considered over a 1...

This is nothing. So a new coaching staff doesn’t want the same guys Petrino recruited, this isnt a surprise. This happens almost every time a new coach is hired anywhere. If you think Satterfield is in the wrong here, you were probably just looking for a reason to knock Louisville.

There were also some first place votes for Gardner Minshew. Heisman voting is wack. Having a 1000 people vote on this award is crazy. The heisman voters should consist of ~20 people ranging from former coaches and the best experts in the country. I don’t even want former winners to vote because if their school has a guy in the running they are always going to vote for their guy. The whole process is flawed IMO. Submitting ballots before all the...

It also doesn’t seem fair to say Murray would have also played poorly against Georgia just because Tua did. We don’t know that. Kyler did everything he was asked and then some in every single game. So did Tua except for one game. Did Tua play bad against Georgia? I think most people would say yes. Is there any possible way to say Kyler also would have played poorly? No. There is no way to say Kyler would have performed poorly as well. I choose...

They can’t both deserve it by definition though. There is only 1 trophy so by definition only 1 can be deserving of the award. I know it’s semantics at this point, but I just feel like being stubborn on this point.

To be fair I don’t think JA was talking about anyone on BGP but rather the actual heisman voters.

But by using criteria such as Tua not playing in 4th quarters it sounds to me like you’re delegitimizing Kyler thus making him less deserving than Tua.

It sort of sounds like that’s what your alluding to by saying Tua should have won.

The Heisman Trophy should not be given out based on projections: - Tua’s injury - Tua not playing a lot of 4th quarters Maybe if Tua plays in those 4th quarters he throws more interceptions. Did Tua’s injury cause him to throw 2 ints against Georgia or to be held under 200 yards against Miss State? You all are confusing correlation and causation. Tua playing bad against Georgia and his injury are correlated but it’s impossible to prove...

Haskins stats against top 50 defenses is better and I’m not sitting here telling everyone Haskins should have won. I just don’t think it’s right nor fair to Kyler to say he just played against bad defenses and if he played against the defenses Tua did his stats would be bad too. Then you say the OU system lends itself to beating up on bad defenses, but just completely ignore the fact that the same system led by Baker last year torched a great...

I think it’s safe to say. I researched what Tua’s stats were against the best defenses he played below. Looking at those numbers it’s pretty clear why Kyler won.

Tua stats against the 3 best defenses he played (LSU, Miss St, Georgia) - 207 yds/ game - 55.4 completion % - 4 TD/ 4 INT - 4 Total rushing yards - 1 Rushing TD It’s really not that difficult to figure out. Yes Tua wasn’t 100% in these games, but you can’t delegitimize what Kyler did simply because Tua wasn’t 100% healthy. Would Tua’s numbers have been better in those games if he was 100%, probably. But we can’t just project what...

Tua stats against those teams wouldn’t have been better than Kyler’s though. They wouldn’t have been worse either. Tua put up big numbers against bad defenses too.

He lost because he didn’t play well. Obviously Georgia was the best defense any of the 3 faced in the championship games, but he had just didn’t play well. Kyler never had a bad game. Tua only had 1 bad game, but having 1 bad game was enough to cost Tua the heisman.

It may be stronger than anyone else’s schedule but it’s never going to be significantly stronger than any other power 5 team from a law of averages standpoint which is how SOS is measured.

Colin Cowherd is your expert on college football? Cowherd? Seriously? If you take anything Cowherd says seriously then I’m not sure what else to say. I actually enjoy Cowherd because I understand what he is. He has no expertise, he has no insight into these teams, he has no special access. He’s just your regular dude at the bar who loves to get people fired up with hot takes. When he said stuff about ND he’s just trying to get fans riled up....
