  1. Pulaski Academy plays at McCracken County September 16th. Can't wait to see to this game!
  2. I didn't have a problem with it, and would've done the same thing! Hated seeing the young man injured for North Hardin late in the 4th, hope he's okay.
  3. I don't really have an opinion on Ballard, just wondering your logic on McCracken/Ballard. It is what it is, just our opinions.
  4. To me it appeared that Kennemore was tackled in bounds and then slid out of bounds, which would allow the clock to run after the ref signals. The clock obviously started before the chains were set, but did the ref signal the clock to start or was it just the clock operator doing it on his own? Either way, I understand the frustration.
  5. Please educate me on how Ballard is that much better than McCracken. How many games have you watched the Mustangs play?
  6. The time of possession virtually tells the story of the game. PT was able to control the line of scrimmage in the 2nd half highlighted by the opening drive which took 6 and half minutes off the clock and gave PT their 1st lead. McCracken never looked comfortable on offense missed a couple of opportunities that would have lead to scores. PT's senior leadership definitely made a difference in the game in my opinion. Would love to see penalty yardage breakdown for this game. PT played an almost flawless game while McCracken shot themselves in the foot over an over again with false starts, holds, and personal fouls. PT will be a tough out in the playoffs, hopefully the Mustangs can develop some offensive rhythm over the next couple of weeks.
  7. PT has an excellent shot to knockoff the Mustangs with it being the 1st game under the new coaching staff. That said, I expect the Mustangs to win by a couple of scores.
  8. The #5 seed from District 3(Male, X, PRP, Butler, Manual) will become the 4 seed in District 5 this and would potentially be matched up with Simon Kenton in the 1st round, assuming they win their district. This is only in odd numbered years. The #5 seed from District 1 will essentially be the 1st round matchup for the District 1 champ as the #5 seed becomes the 4 seed in District 2.
  9. Obviously as a Mustang fan I'm somewhat biased, but I feel the Stangs have the potential to be a contender this year. It's way to early to label them a "contender", but their success this year is largely dependent upon the effectiveness of the new coaching staff. Last year we watched the Mustangs give up a 20-0 lead against Manual in the playoffs, which by all accounts is a Top 5 team in 6A. Although we lost, I left confident that we could compete with the best of 6A. Luckily this year we would only have to face one of the old "Super District" teams in the Semifinal where the Mustangs would host. Would we be favored in that game? Probably not. Could we win? Absolutely.
  10. A decision should be made by end of the week. I expect an announcement to be made sometime next week. I've heard the same information as you Toothpick.
  11. I realize that Cousin Neal brings Harmon instant credibility and he is supposed to be an offensive genius, but often times my 7 year old son could've devised a more coherent and sophisticated offensive strategy than Harmon. Maybe Haskins was simply holding him back?
  12. I think the Mustangs need to find a proven coach from outside the existing system. I'm afraid that the issues that currently exist will only compound if an inside hire is made. Harmon may get the job but I and many others feel that a culture change is needed.
