Pura Vida, perhaps you can tell us what conclusions you are drawing about the psychology of the woman that you find fascinating. So far in the discussion occurring in the thread you are only finding out about the psychology of the men on BGP ; ).

As per the article, it appears that it is a merger in which they plan to maintain both campuses and each will field its own sports teams. Doesn't appear to be much change from an athlete's perspective. If you signed with CCU, you will still be playing for them. Perhaps the major change is how much they are willing to pay a HC, hence the departure of Fulcher. Just speculation on my part.

Man! You could be the guy wearing the black hood during the Inquisition :lol2: I don't think he ever had the #1 pick. He did draft Mahommes and brought Alex Smith to KC. The Browns have drafted a QB #1 only 1 time, in 1999 and it was Tim Couch. The highest they have drafted a QB is at #22, Weeden, Quinn, and Derek Anderson (?). They had opportunity at #2 but traded that away. So this is the first #1 QB they will take. You can't...

I am so glad the draft is FINALLY here. The end of April is too long to wait. Everything you hear until 8 pm tonight is smoke screen, speculation, guess, and misinformation. No GM or coach is going to leak who they are going to pick in the first round. They need teams to be guessing in case they want to offer a trade that you can't pass up. It matters in draft strategy whether Cleveland takes Barkley #1 or a Qb. It matters which QB they...

He won't go to the Browns. They go QB #1 and probably Chubbs, if available, at #4. It will give them a monster D-Line. Garrett, Chubbs, Ogbah can all get after the QB. Because you want the Browns to continue to lose? Haven't they paid their dues after having a turncoat owner steal their team away, and then 19 years of losing?

I figured my opinion would not be popular, but it is my opinion and I would vote consistent with it if this sort of thing came to a vote. I had a whole lot more to say on the subject but decided not to do so. Just suffice it to say that it has to do with a set of values I hold. Some you may agree with, others you won't.

I am against it. It's a vice. Money isn't everything. Adding to the state's coffers shouldn't be the reason to add casinos. Randy Parker provided many reasons against it in his posts and linked articles. It is just my opinion. I think casinos bring an unsavory element to a community and region. We're better off without it.

In a twitter exchange where Rob Gronkowski was asked by Phil Perry if he would attend optional workouts with the Pats, Gronk responded: "No." When asked "Why?", he stated, "I've got dirt-biking skills to work on." Perry persisted, "Are you still contemplating retirement?" To which Gronk replied, "It depends on how my racing skills go today." :lol2::lol2::lol2: Browns considering two QBs, Super Bowl contenders make offers to Dez...

I think the backup QB also graduated. Finding a QB will be a huge priority for the coaching staff. Travon Mason will need to have a big year. I think the coaches will also have to find some other weapons to take the heat off of Mason. It makes me think that John Williams will get more involved at RB this season. He is a LB and will have to play some in the offensive backfield. He is quite capable. Was terrific at RB in BCPWFL.

Bolded: Yep. I may ask if she/he was serious. I may explain again that I am expecting the arrival of another party soon. But if she/he reiterated that I was to leave, I would either purchase something or leave, depending on how much importance I placed on meeting the person there. That's just me. I generally try to get along. I am not throwing shade on the two men in question because I don't have the history they do and if I...

It is nearly impossible to follow the policy "all the time." An employee is not necessarily looking for violators of the policy. It's something that gets noticed for some reason, like someone asking to use the restroom. Or if the place is really busy and people are waiting in line for tables, can you see if anyone is just sitting there without making a purchase. Then you assess and decide if a policy is being broken and whether to ask the...

Turtle Pecan Cluster is my favorite. The deliciousness is effected by the size you get. I don't remember what they call it but the one I prefer is one size up from the smallest. It seems like if you get a larger size, the ratio of chocolate, caramel, and pecans to the "ice cream" is diluted. Trust me, it makes a difference. The best Turtle Pecan Cluster Blizzard is when you exchange the caramel for butterscotch. They no longer have...

When I first saw this story my first reaction was this looks like a case where two men are not given the benefit of the doubt because they are African-American. There may be white people in a Starbucks who have been treated similarly. This policy is impossible to enforce consistently because the employee has priorities and their's is to sell product not walk around the tables to police who is purchasing and who is not. So there is bound to be...

As a Cleveland Browns fan I would not/cannot ever root for Pittsburgh, even if the whole roster was filled with Ohio State players and Woody Hayes had been the team owner. The Ravens are just plain "dead to me." Any Ohio State players over there might as well have fallen into a black hole. Having said that, I still like Ozzie Newsome, but I hope his employer loses every game.

On April 15, 1947, Jackie Robinson became the first African-American Major League baseball player in the modern era. Besides being a great baseball player, he was a man of great courage. In honor of his great achievements as a baseball player and as a human being I want to post a pic of a baseball card of him that I have. It is a 1954 Topps. In addition, I am posting a card of Larry Doby. On July 5, 1947, Doby came to bat as a pinch...

Jarvis Landry was brought to the Browns earlier this year to be the slot receiver. He's caught over 400 passes the last 4 seasons and averaged 1,000 yds per season. That's high production. The 25 yr old WR will average $15.1 Mil per year making him the 5th highest paid receiver. He is a 3-time Probowl. His contract includes a $47 Mil guarantee. This is what Landry said, and is part of the reason Cleveland wants to keep him around for a...

Two concussions during 2017 have people worried about his durability, esp. since he is purely a pocket passer. I think he also had a shoulder issue earlier in his career. But you are right, everyone says he is the most ready QB at this point and has the best mechanics. He should be a good one.

I don't care if it has been 40 years, colonel-fan made my day by mentioning Ozzie Newsome! One of my favorite players from the era when I went from being more than a fan to a fanatic. The great Wizzard of Oz was actually a WR in college and was switched to TE in the NFL by Cleveland Head Coach, Sam Rutigliano. Rutigliano told Ozzie he would be a good WR but if he would make the switch to TE he may be the greatest TE ever. The idea of...

Cauvey Vastine played one game on varsity for Boone County in 2017. We'll see how much he gets the ball in 2018. If I could read the coaches it seemed like they were giving him touches in the one varsity game to see how they might use him next year. That one game, Boone lined up in an I formation. That was the only occasion they used that as their primary formation in a game all year. Vastine appeared to like following the FB into the hole....

Would of been fun to see the Celtics and the Cavs face-off. LeBron would have had to beat his former teammate or die trying.
