  1. This logic is insane. By all means, Alabama should have to play NFL teams while their at it too. It's just unfair:isurrender:
  2. I may be a bit biased, but I feel this is the most underrated position in Kentucky in terms of recruiting. Having Scooter Hollis and Devin Hayes (maybe Clark Payne) slip through the cracks for FBS and FCS schools in recent past at Bowling Green still leaves me unsure what a QB in this end of the state needs to do to get attention from schools..
  3. After seeing both play, I'm taking Catlett over Hayes. He's just able to make moves that I haven't seen by many others before. The kid is REALLY good wherever you put him on offense. Not taking anything away from Hayes, but I like him more as a DB than a WR. I feel like that position fits his style of play perfectly and would succeed just as well at a DB as he would at WR at Purdue.

  5. Spin, if Hayes isn't able to play tonight, who will play in his place? Who has started in his position on defense the last couple weeks? Hope he's able to play, but would like to be familiar with who is on the field.
  6. South Warren online audio broadcast by Sporting Times: Spartan Nation Don't think they live stream video, only audio.
  7. 7 Franklin Simpson 5 Madisonville NH 3 Caldwell County 2 Mayfield 1 Logan County TB Franklin Simpson
  8. Exactly as you said, no one knows the real story behind every JV and FROSH team. It's hard to determine who's really that good because the same team they both played could've been playing with different players that day. Honestly, these scores don't mean anything.. Only the Friday night scores do.
  9. Hard to say that when both are still young in their careers. Regardless, both will do just fine. Just an extra piece of info, Lacey got most of his offers at camps that Vito has yet to attend because he's a freshman. They both have plenty of time to continue to make their marks on both programs.
  10. I wouldn't say that they are excuses, but more of unfortunate circumstances. Losing key players in the middle of a game can really effect a team. If BG were to lose Payne, Carrothers, and Wilson we would be saying the same thing. You would see that it would be hard for the BG offense to move the ball because of the inexperience of playing with the varsity guys and not being totally familiar with the playbook. Also, you would see it effect JV and freshman, because a team with not much depth like South and BG alike would have to pull starters from both levels and move them up. Doing this in the middle of the season makes it very hard. You must remember, the KHSAA now has the quarter rule (I believe it's 8) that players aren't allowed to play past. Injuries are a part of the game. Unfortunately, South has been effected a lot more than a lot of the teams around here.
  11. The point to say that coaching doesn't have a major impact is a bit out there. You need to have good coaching to be able to compete at a championship level. Yes, I agree you wouldn't be able to put Bill Belichick at Logan County and have instant success because the talent just isn't there. But, on the same point, you can't expect to put a little league coach behind a Trinity, Bowling Green, or a Mayfield and expect to win a state championship. Coaching matters, and that's why you consistently see these same teams in the finals. They continue to have good coaches who understand how to break down opponents and are able to change things up. Remember, they are the one's who teach these kids with great athletic abilities to utilize it to the best of their abilities.
  12. Freshman CB Vito Tisdale has picked up his first offer from Austin Peay. Informed by tweet from Coach Wallace. Very well deserved from an outstanding athlete. Vito Tisdale is the brother of former BG running back, Blue Tisdale. He was also the MVP of the Middle School Army All-American Bowl in Texas last year. Bright future ahead for this young man.
  13. The only thing I'm having trouble is deciding if this is the best BG team I've watched or not.. I'm not trying to sound arrogant, but they are really that good!! Also, we may be witnesses in watching one of the best athletes to come through Bowling Green in Vito Tisdale. The kid is amazing to watch.. Makes it hard to believe he's a freshman. I would be surprised if the kid didn't have some offers by the end of the season.
  14. Always have and always will have respect for this series. Any year is a tough year to go to Rash Stadium and not feel threatened. That place is probably one of the best/most intimidating places to play. BG is on a roll, but anything can happen on a Friday night. Hoping for another great rivalry game and can't wait to pig out at Moonlight BBQ.
  15. I'm a Coach Seabolt fan, he was an awesome coach at BG and you could tell his players loved him. I as well hope they are 8-0 when they meet BG. The QB, Adams is honestly one of the most underrated players in this part of the state IMO. The kid is able to make reads better than a lot of players I've seen.. Oh and he has wheels. You must be very disciplined assignment wise when you play this offense or else you will have your defense on the field all night long. Adams is a kid I feel could succeed at the next level (FCS or D2) if given the chance at a school the runs the option, very high on this kid.
