  1. Nice to see #44 back and healthy. Campbell County is going to be hard to beat.
  2. I'm sure if it's true that leave will turn into a permanent vacation. As it should.
  3. Yes #6 is good. Summit View just has a lot of solid players. That #24 for them is one heck of a defensive player. He isn't afraid to stick his nose anywhere. They will be hard to beat. I'm glad to see that program doing well under their new head coach.
  4. No doubt! I would have to say #44 (no clue what his name is) from Campbell County is the best player I have seen play in the league. #22 from Turkeyfoot would be a really close 2nd. I just think #44 plays a little better defense. Hope he is completely healthy for the playoffs.
  5. Right now in the large school it would have to be Summit View. The SV vs TF game was really good. Turkeyfoot is a close 2nd. Woodland has a good squad. I think Campbell County with a healthy 44 is a scary team in the playoffs. Twenhofel just isn't the same team without their QB. I have seen all of the teams play and that's the way I would rank them. I haven't seen any of the Middle and Small schools play.
  6. At this point I would flip Cooper and SK. I agree with the rest. I just think both wins by Cooper were very convincing against quality opponents. I'm looking forward to those two playing Sept. 18th.
  7. Turkeyfoot beat Campbell County. It was a good game. Campbell had a chance at the end but threw a pick 6 to end the game. Again Campbell was a different team without #44 in the game. He only played a limited amount in the game and towards the end took a big hit and went out. Hope that kid is okay. Turkeyfoot has a solid team again this year. Tough break for Twenhofel. Lost their starting QB and all around play maker to an injury on their 3rd or 4th offensive play. The word around the stands was a broken bone. Without him in the game their offense was in disarray. Several QB's were rotated in with zero success. Summit View has a really solid team. SV's defense is really good I believe they scored 3 defensive TD's. 2 pick 6's and a fumble recovery for a TD. They have a solid offense with backs that run with power. I look forward to the Turkeyfoot vs Summit View game.
  8. #44 did return in the 4th quarter. CC struggled to move the ball at all without him in the game. They are a different team offensively and defensively without him on the field. Score at the half was 26-7. Twenhofel made some nice adjustments at the half on both sides of the ball. Twenhofel's D came up with some big stops in the 4th quarter with #44 in the game. It was hard to tell if he was 100%. CC had a chance at the end but got picked off with about 25 seconds to go. Twenhofel won 28-26. The Twenhofel QB is a playmaker.
  9. Congrats to Dixie. Better team won tonight. This is one SK fan that will be there next Friday to cheer Dixie on. I would love for a NKY to win that 6A.
  10. That is awesome. Great video. This is going to be a great atmosphere. Good luck to both teams. I hope for a hard fought injury free game!!!!
  11. What I learned that night was it's the fastest way to go to jail at Mardi Gras. They don't mess around or tolerate it. Years later I watched a PO catch 3 guys peeing. He made them take off their shirts and wipe it up. Yes wipe the street up and that was after thousands had used the restroom there and the pee was like a small stream. I guess it was better than jail.
