My NKU kid was lamenting missing the game AND the resulting pizza award lol (studying for finals) Ė the pizza thing is huge among the students (of course!).

It’s clichť but never more true that the Cards are finding themselves. As fans, it leaves us uncertain what to expect each game, LOL. It was nice watching the guys have fun at the end of the game. Camaraderie/encouragement are a big part of the process...

Congrats to Baker Mayfield – also to Bryce Love. And of course, to the talented, dynamic, and humble Lamar Jackson! Super fun watching #8 being part of this, the past 2 years. (It was also cool watching him being summoned on stage by his fellow Heisman brethren after the announcement.)

I just had a random thought and realized Lamar has a Heisman ballot and gets to vote for himself – pretty cool!

I hope no matter what number he’s drafted, that Lamar doesn’t end up with either the Bengals or Browns (and I’m a Bengals “fan” lol!). Hoping the absolute best for him!

Go Donovan!! According to the article Mitchell joined LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Stephen Curry, Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon as the only active players to have scored 40 points as a rookie. Iím ordering a Jazz t-shirt for Christmas! Jazz's Donovan Mitchell is just the seventh active player to score 4 points as a rookie - CBSSports.com

There was a thread about John Tong a year or so ago in the College Basketball forum – he was great!! When I was in college I worked in an office along with one of his friends.... he would call the office periodically to ask to speak to his friend in a hilarious French accent. No disguising that voice, lol.

The end of the season felt really good. If we could play one team again, I would like another go at Clemson – sure we’d lose again, but I wonder how much/if any we would close the gap.... Can’t help but wonder how next season will go without the GOAT that is Lamar.

My favorite is the simple Velveeta recipe! I'm such a hypocrite...dissing on stove top stuffing then bragging on velveeta (lol).

Totally agree.... I always pity the family when I see those red boxes in their grocery cart the day before Thanksgiving. Yuk!

Yes to the Honey Baked Ham! And all the casseroles: broccoli casserole, crunchy cranberry casserole, marshmallowly sweet potato casserole and stuffing. Afterwards, butterscotch and pecan pie.

I like him.... he comes off as very intelligent/professional but also reasonable/likeable. His calmer style is hard to get used to for Cards fans (lol) but man, last night he had the players responding and working very hard for him; nice to see. I hope he succeeds!

I honestly have no idea!! I only watched UK a few times this season, but I thought they looked pretty solid overall. Louisville’s performance the past 2 games is what I expected all season – healthy, aggressive defense and Lamar’s offense is lights out! I feel like the Cards are well positioned for the win, but since it’s the big rivalry game I don’t think any of us would be surprised by any number of outcomes. All I ask... for the love...

Definitely would’ve placed myself ahead of Cole at the spaghetti dinner – it looked so nasty at the end. Surprised no one thought to hide the dish but Ryan. Ryan also was flawless with the idol at the well.

This has taken on a season finale'esque feel from any number of prime time dramas….. Young, arrogant athletes try to pull off a heist in a foreign country where the US has shaky relations…. they are predictably immediately caught and threatened with outrageous penalties…. featuring the well-known boisterous sports family whom everyone must contain, and the controversial president who just happens to be touring the region. Love it! ...

I hope some type of community service is involved in the "penalty". Young people especially, could benefit from their constructive interaction.

Soooo happy for David Padgett! That was a heart attack game earlyÖ , but the Cards with excellent play by the freshmen, hung in there and prevailed!
