2 cheese coneys (mustard & onions), small 4-way (onions), diet Pepsi. Senior rate leaves me perfect amount for tip. At least twice a month is the norm.

And that guy is why I gave up longtime Bengals season tickets. Started about 1985 with 8, and dropped to 4 in 1991 when I moved 80 miles away, and then began to split with a friend until about 2010(?) when that jerk drove me and my wife away.

Guru's info made me do a little research, seems with the initial IPO that the previous private company had $3.9billion in stock options and RSOs that get expensed. This # will be reduced in future reporting periods to about $500million and creates favorable optimism. Although the bottom line was less than anticipated the market price at $42 seems to be holding.

I thought the reporter was fishing and Dabo jumped on the hook. College coaches are usually trained in managing/dodging the media's awkward questions.

Aquino just struck out on a six pitch at bat with no balls within a foot of the plate. Worst at bat I have seen in recent memory. The book on him will begin to note his vulnerabilities. Testerone overpowers his brain!

Bet Kelly wouldn't want to memorialize his desertion of teammates in the trenches with a token ring. Just curious as to why this whole thing became public. Dabo making the right decision on the ring, but unable to keep that decision private? Not what I would have expected from normally a classy guy.

Oh, my! Upton just did the non-chalant one handed drop for a two base error. Nobody on, routine fly. Trout last night, Upton tonight. Thank you Angels, we need these mistakes.

rjs4470, you have so eloquently explained how the thinking in the game evolves over time. We even see infielders on routine popups make the one-handed catch. From now on I will not boil, but will extend a little benefit of doubt. In Oldercoach's day the one-handed catch always got the "hot dog's behind" on the bench.

Last night we all saw Mike Trout drop a flyball that can partially be attributed to taking his eye off the ball as he was trying to catch it one-handed. We now see one-handed catches made on almost every flyball. Puig comes to mind with that rifle arm. This oldtimer learned the two-handed catch was fundamentally the proper way, enhancing certainty of the catch and shortening the exchange and release time of the throw. Was that teaching...

How about 2 minute OTs, 15 second shot clock, and one time out per team. That would create some intense and exciting moments. But, wait....impractical because we wouldn't have time for 10 commercials! I am a dumby.

For us loyal Tiger fans for many, many years we all recognize the threat of Mayfield and remember those battles before they moved to 2A. In fact we celebrated. CAL is an annual beast. We are definately stepping up in competition after losing a premier cadre of seniors last year. Coach Rash and his staff will have the Tigers hitting on all cylinders; but, 2A will not be the same as 1A.

Coach Roy Lucas is certainly a molder of quality QBs. Offensive #s over the last half dozen years shows they can move the ball on anyone with a very diverse attack.

The 2007 UK defeat of #1 LSU in triple overtime. Woodson to Stevie Johnson gives UK a 43-37 upset as Cats come back from 13 down in 3rd to send it to OT. Field had more fans on it than the stands. Most stayed at least 1/2 hour after final horn. Rare moments need to be savored.

If Sumoroyal is right we certainly won't see it in the world of televised games. Need those laborious TV time outs to kill team momentum but bring in $$$$.

Haven't thought thru the defensive strategies against the inferior FT shooting ball handler in this end game situation. Does he become more of a liability to the offensive team, less, or it depends? Just thinking that there are a new myriad of strategies that a coach could consider other than just Hack-a-Shaq.

Turns out, ESPN reports, that the injury was the dreaded high ankle sprain requiring surgery to tighted the ligaments that hold the two leg bones together at the ankle. Stability is the critical role the ligament plays and the stress of wide receiver cuts is pretty intense on it. Recovery time is an individual thing, but the surgery will certainly improve things longterm. This injury does explain why he could want straight ahead to the cart...

Perfectly said, nkypete. This venture capital ownership makes it well known they like to buy distressed restuarant chains and fix them. This usually speaks to increasing the bottom line, unfortunately they are trying to do it by decreasing food costs at the expense of quality. Recipe for disaster.

As to patty size, your commisary friend ought to look at picture of BigBoy on the menu and then at one lately I had been served. Patty might be 75-80% of the picture. As to the bun, Klosterman's might have been the provider for multiple years, but it has changed to a very dry-tasteless nothing. As mentioned in some other posts, the coleslaw has also radically changed for the worst. Oh, well, Frisch's is no longer a dining option I consider.

Just saw that Luke Maile was on the injuried list of the Chicago White Sox and wondered what happened and how he is recovering. As one of NKy's all-time best catchers, I had hoped some of the Park Hills followers might be able to enlighten us not in the know. Followed his career at both CovCath and UK and was delighted when I saw he had a 2 HR game for the Sox earlier this year. Had always heard he was a fine young man and this old guy wishes...

According to KHSAA 2018, Beechwood had 233 boys in top 4 grades. By the looks at game night, I would guess about 60 boys dress varsity and I would further guess there might probably be another 15 frosh not dressing. That puts the participation at roughly 30-35% range. Would further guess the rest are in the band or homestands on game night.

1966 Kentucky Derby infield. Kuai King was the winning horse. During the National Anthem a college kid had shimmied halfway up the unguarded flagpole and somehow was able to partially wiggle his shorts down to moon all those in attendance. Always suspected the television cameras protected the worldwide viewers from seeing what a Ky "plumbers crack" looked like.

5 on 5, half court can become a little crowded with slow moving, mature physiques. Although, the game has become a little safer closer to the ground.
