Just saw where Nike is signing her to a $20million deal. Details to follow. I guess this shows the generational impact this young phenom has had on women’s basketball. Sure hope the impact continues to grow in the presently almost invisible WNBA.

I know nothing about the back story, just have observed for years that Sully’s teams give 100% effort for the entire game. Play a smart, aggressive, hustle style that just wears opponents down. Always seems to put out deep rosters that challenge every coach’s game planning.

I am totally mystified about this post. My memory says KP was a great position coach and did a great job at UK and the BBN was saddened when he left for the NBA to again specialize with the bigs. Although, I have done zero research, I was not aware of any demonstrated experience in game planning, ingame strategies, or team structuring. But as a Louisville alumnus with an extensive (but perhaps narrow) pedigree, one could see KP as a legitimate hire. The programs regression certainly dictated it was time for another UL change. Conspiracy/plant….hilarious.

Just saw Kenny Payne and Cal are getting the band together. Kenny will do a great job with the bigs once again. Great move.

But the kool-aid hype was class after class could “knock down the 3.” Considering the trajectory the program was continually experiencing it became hard to blame BBN’s reluctance to make NIL gold appear.

You might be 100% correct, but I thought Cal obviously constrained what Z wants to be. Z sees himself as a perimeter ball handler firing up 3s (Pope’s style) and not the body banger in the paint that Ky desperately needed this year. I really thought he wasn’t happy with his utilization under Cal.

If his goal is to play in the NBA while getting drafted high, agree with you now is the time. However, he may have higher desires toward Self Actualization. Would never 2nd guess his decision because none of us are in his head. Just as none of us should criticize Scott Drew’s decision that a bigger pile of money would help him realize what motivates his life.

Absolutely love his game and love my Cats; but if he is lottery pick, he’s got to go. Or, is Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs 100% correct.
