Would like to hear a little more about Noah. I am pretty sure he plays NG/Center on the football team; which isn't normally the type of physique a power pitcher possesses.

Very disappointed. He would have been a very valuable upperclassman that the final four seems to demand lately.

Shame on the school for not protecting their history. Got to start sometime, would suggest an * be used to note the years of missing records and officially apologize for the lack of data.

The intensity of Frank Martin's teams have been a known for many years. Playing in the SEC is a tough recruiting gig at a football school. I know the Cats and Cal have a high respect for his program and never take a South Carolina victory for granted as they have upset UK twice under Martin. I wonder if his two years on Huggy's staff at UC will work for him or against him. His program at Kansas State was very successful. Curious as to if...

Maybe not for some (larger bands can have extras and they seem to stand at parade rest in the endzone ) while those being disciplined at most competitions I have regularly followed for 12 years seem to be about 10 yards off field about the 40 standing at attention. The band parents know what is happening and more often than not why.

Kennedy did a great fill in job. Nancy Z cleaned the Huggy House and that is why Andy was let go.

High school bands have been doing the same thing for years. Ever noticed the kids in full uniforms standing at attention on the sidelines during the bands performance? Yep! Those are the ones that have failed to meet their responsibilities. Most band directors will say that form of discipline works.

I am not personally familiar with the vertical game around the rim. For many reasons I kept my game below the net level. My question is do many players get injured on uncontested warmup dunks? Understand the perils of being undercut, etc during game action; but, during warmups? Just seems to me warmups should be a coach’s decision....not a rule calling for a T.

I think the rule came in somewhere around the time that Daryl Dawkins was shattering backboards not built to survive such onslaughts. Safety was a concern as was the cost and convenience of replacing a demolished board. Just my recall, no facts.

Sometimes an "expert is thought to be anyone from somewhere else". Is Coach Brannen too close to UC to be genuinely considered?

I still maintain that the worst vantage point to see everything going on is the referees vantage at floor level....big bodies moving at varying speeds at different elevations on/off the floor. I would compare it somewhat like being two feet from a highway billboad. You can target certain areas of the billboard and see it quite clearly; but, it is impossible to see the whole billboard. We have three refs in order to see more parts of the...

Whatever school (if any?) gets him, their program will have an upward future. Always suspected his movement from NCC was to logically get in the public school environment and appropriate benefits (pay, retirement, etc).

Coach K just lost with the Nos. 1,2, &3 rated recruits in the 2018 recruiting class. Best Class of overall recruits ever put together at a single school. Still not able to overcome the high quality seasoned vets with an outstanding coach. NCAA is what it is supposed to be....a tough track to navigate with perils awaiting at every moment of the venture.

Futurecoach, I agree with your observations. My point was not ability at all, it was strictly regarding his total indecisiveness under the intense pressure of the moments. Some learn, some shrink and never overcome. I certainly hope the growth blossoms. When he was told to penetrate (taking decisions out of the equation) we saw a spark...with the exception of the one missed layup. In pressure we all know physical errors can become an...

Bruce Pearl's son, Steve (an assistant coach) is quoted that they kept telling their players to keep it within 10 the first half. The 2nd half pressure of the game will cause them to tighten up. How prophetic a prediction. My question "with another year will Ashton Hagans become a high pressure performer or will we see more of this sad performance repeating itself"?

Concur 100%, and this old brain seems to recall that as Brannen was coming to WV their two best players (Moeves brothers) transferred to NewCath leaving the WV cupboard completely bare. Brannen's 1st year was 4-20 with four sr.s supporting the cupboard's void . His program went 14-14 the next year and improved annually to this stellar year. Can't a young all-star coach move on without getting skewered?

Have one final round left this winter in Ft. Myers. Will have played 39 rounds since early January. Handicap climbing from 7.8 to 11.8 tells the story.

HIPPA has nothing to do with PJ's ability to comment. I think he has been muzzled as the AD in the 60 Minute piece last night says all of his coches, trainers, players, etc are coached to always do. This muzzled trend has been camouflauged regularly as HIPPA.

The reason for the mystery on P.J. might have inadvertantly been cleared up by the West Virginia AD during a 60 Minute piece on college sports gambling. He said his players, coaches, trainers and everyone in the know at his school are told to "say nothing" about any injury to any player at anytime. The legalization of sports' gambling has the potential to affect college sports in disastrous ways and colleges were going to have to be very...

It appeared to me that the refs swallowed their whistle on Zion's drive, the rebound, and the last UCF drive. BUT, don't most of us want the players to decide the game? Got to give it to Zion on his drive...not many players are strong enough to shoot through that contact. Dawkins will be next Duke coach when Coach K retires.
