Which is a bit strange to me. Not saying it's a perfect hire but, Drew is a top five coach in the game with a chip to go with it. Have to think it would be the strongest resume of any candidate hired by Kentucky previously.

Seems like it's Scott Drew's for the taking should he want it. I'll say this, I felt there was a natural fear factor involved for the opposition with Cal at Kentucky. I don't have that same mindset with Drew. I'm sure he would be successful, but it won't be/feel the same.

If Brandon Stockton got the job that would be best case scenario, in my opinion. I know he has been an assistant, but would Glasgow give him the job while not working at the school? I don't feel like they reach outside the building much at all.

I'm also curious. Job was listed open on 1/22, have to think it would be any day now but who knows what the hold up is.

I as well thought it was a solid effort from the Bears but I also agree on Price. It was simply just bad basketball. Congrats on a great season Butler County!

Jeremy Harness? If it is Harness I wish him the best of luck. He was a fantastic player at John Hardin. This would be the third "college" coaching hire the Dragons will have made in 10 years. The other 2 didn't fair well for various reasons. If I were a Dragon supporter, I would not be optimistic that the same interim principal, that has almost single handily destroyed Warren Central Football since 2016, is involved in making this hire. Hopefully he wasn't involved.

Pretty confident in saying it won't be Tyreon Clark. I am curious what direction the administration is leaning here. Obviously no way to ever know what the pool of applicants looks like, but I can't help but wonder if its slim. I wish the best of luck to the Dragons. It's hard not to root for those kids and the program after all it has been through.

Thinking Highlands will make a SC and/or win it requires, at least to me, a touch of evidence to support that theory. Other than some metrics posted of some size for the Bluebirds, I am failing to see much provided. Its February and super early, but I'm not so sure Highlands has the credentials currently to lay any claims of that nature. Since their return to 5A in 2015, the results have been overwhelmingly disappointing if we're using Highlands standards of the past as a measuring stick. I guess what I am saying is, I'll change when the facts change, as should anyone else.

Still, have to think something may have been in the air to bail after three years starting at QB for Glasgow. OC John Myers heads to Barren and within a short time their quarterback is gone too. It may be nothing to do with anything but it’s at the very least intriguing.
