  1. What happens if fall schedule is cancelled in the middle? Start all over in the Spring? This is a mess.
  2. Even it is just on the NCAA website, they could ignore what the southern schools do in the fall against their wishes, and only “recognize” what happens in the BIG10 and PAC12 in the Spring since it’s all mythical.
  3. So two national championships and the NCAA can put both on the website. https://www.ncaa.com/news/football/article/college-football-national-championship-history%3famp
  4. Won’t they win the Spring National Championship then? NCAA brass isn’t supporting the SEC, ACC, and BIG12 having a fall season. Buckeyes may be the only honored champion.
  5. may be a back log of beef. Some people never forget.
  6. Also I would say the national championship goes through ACC and SEC, so whatever happens this fall will be accurate if it happens. Problem is if CFB gets shut down once, twice, etc... the BiG 10 or PAC12 may win a national championship in the Spring.
  7. I’m gonna say he’s talking about those too.
  8. NCAA president says no championships in 2020.
  9. Practice can start when in-person school is safe. 6 games: district and extras needed. Top 2 go to playoffs. If that starts Oct. 1, Nov. 1, Dec. 1, etc so be it. I just can’t see sports while school can’t be in session.
  10. I’m sure it’s just me, but doesn’t it feel like the South is approaching the idea of playing college football the same way the it approached everyday life in a pandemic?
  11. Imagine these numbers when school starts.
  12. If we do not do what other countries have done we can copy and paste this thread for next year. Denial is why we are where we are.
  13. Hypothetical situation: These teams are contractually obligated. Nebraska plays in the Big 12 this year. Does the money they make go to the Big 12 or the Big 10? This could be any team and may be a non issue, but money seems to always be the biggest issue.
