I have it on good authority that he did indeed do it, but believe what you will. I’m only stating that if he did, it’s childish and he should set a better example for his players. Maybe the video will surface and we will all know for sure one way or the other. -

Coaches shouldn’t act like little children though. Sticking your tongue out at the opposing coach? Coaches need to set the example of what sportsmanship looks like to their players and be held to that higher standard. -

Keep telling yourself that. I'm pretty sure both Bradshaw and Ray knew the time commitment involved. They had both been coaches for 20+ years. When coaches have been in the business that long and walk away, there's usually something else going on that's causing them to leave the profession. -

They are still a good basketball team. I just think that the draw heavily favored any team that came out of the 10th region the year they made it to the final four. That year they were clearly the best team in the 10th, but now, there are other teams that are as good or better than Mason was 2 years ago. -
Girls 10th Region All Region Team

Is the 10th region like other regions? Do coaches submit a list of their own players for consideration and then the coaches vote for the players based on those submissions? If that's the case and what was mentioned in the thread about the stats is true, then WOW! How do you not promote your own players? That's a shame because IMO Bracken should have at least one, with Kalb, making that list. SMH -

A lot of people thought Bailey was just a scorer and I know a few people thought they'd be better without her. However, she meant so much more to that team than just her points. Her ability to distribute the ball to her teammates was equally as important as her scoring and they are really missing that now. -

A "prior" boys coach? Or a current coach on the boys staff? -
Bishop Brossart 58 Bourbon County 35

I expected this win by Brossart, but thought the margin would be closer. Is Bourbon not having Simms this year making that big of an impact? Was Brossart missing any starters tonight? -
Has HC rendered the All-A meaningless?

It's not all about the money ... They give out a lot of the money they bring in, in the form of scholarships. The All A has grown in that it's not just about basketball ... There are (or at least one time there were) art competitions which gave out scholarships to the winners ... I am pretty sure there are ROTC programs as well as cheerleading programs, too. It's been several years since I've been to the state All A (the last time I went it was at EKU), but they had all of those programs and awarded several students when I was there then. -
It is my understanding that Bellevue tried to reschedule the cancelled Tuesday night game for Saturday, but Ludlow had already rescheduled their Wednesday night game with Brossart for Saturday afternoon (knowing the Wednesday night game was going to get cancelled). That left Ludlow with only Thursday night to reschedule the Bellevue game since Friday they had Dayton. Ludlow was trying to make everyone happy by honoring all of their commitments but instead made everyone upset.

I think Brossart was missing their point guard for this game. #5 Nienaber? Not that she would have made up a 30 point difference, but none-the-less ... Probably had a little to do with them looking out of sync at times.
