  1. I fully expected the Rebels to get the win but man, I didn't expect them to dominate like that on the road. Things are looking very good for our Rebels again this year. GO REBELS
  2. I was really surprised, not at the outcome, but at the final score. I didn't think Boyle could score 40 on Corbin and I didn't see Corbin scoring 21 on Boyle. But I love the outcome, go Boyle, do it again next year!
  3. I look for a game in the 20's with Boyle pulling out the win.
  4. I think Boyle will win again, however I was at the first game and the Lexington Catholic offensive line gave their quarterback all day to throw during the entire game. I would like to see Boyle do a better job of getting to their quarterback - maybe not get the sack but at least put some pressure on him. But Boyle always seems to get the win and that is what counts.
  5. I thought of that and Boyle did do a good job on Catholic's receivers. But I'd still like to see a little more pressure put on the quarterback. On some plays, I timed it and he had a full 5 seconds to throw. But I'm sure the coaching staff definitely knows more about what to do than I do. Good luck the rest of the way Rebels.
  6. Boyle County should win this one rather easily. My concern with Boyle is their defensive line pressure. Lexington Catholic's quarterback had all day to throw the ball during the entire game last week. Before the playoffs and the rematch with Catholic, Boyle is going to have to figure out some way to put pressure on the other team's quarterback. Or maybe Catholic's offensive line was just that good.
  7. It's a shame that either team had to lose in one of the best high school football games that I have ever seen. It reminded me of the year that Boyle beat Bell County on a last second field goal but that was a playoff game. I didn't think Danville had a chance to make that 45 yard field goal. There's many college players that can't kick a 45 yard field goal. Expect great things from both, Boyle and Danville come playoff time.
  8. Can someone please tell me why Boyle County squib kicks the ball every time instead of kicking it deep. If you're going to squib kick the ball, at least have the kicker step back the usual 10 yards before approaching the ball so the other team doesn't know for sure that a squib kick is coming.
  9. If Boyle County's quarterback can't throw better than he did last night and the receivers catch the ball better, Boyle's season is down the drain. They will have anather shot at Catholic (at Catholic) but their play will have to improve on the line of scrimmage and at quarterback and receiver to win that game. Also, why all of the squib kicks, I'm sure there is a reason but I can't figure that out.
