  1. Lafayette has played Trinity and Scott County this year. Though neither one is historically up to the talent level one would find in Northern Ky, they have combined to win two of the last three state championships (Male, another overrated non-northern Kentucky team won the other). I'll take Trinity and Scott County over Ryle and Cooper. We shall just have to agree to disagree over has played some of the tougher teams
  2. Beechwood has been there and done that Tough to pick against
  3. Ballard is tough, but Trinity is way to numerous. Trinity in a name the score type game in the second half
  4. I appreciate the analysis but still go with Lafayette What has changed since last year? which team has more wins versus 1A and 2A teams? Is this a positive or a negative? Which team has gone outside their district and played big boy 6A teams? In boxing and football there are those that go looking for a fight and those that go looking not to fight. Lafayette has not backed down against Trinity/Scott County type teams. Lafayette 6A schedule prepares them against teams that have not played 6A schedules.
  5. Lexington/ Central Kentucky high schools beating North Kentucky teams in 6A almost unheard of. Congrats on the upset
  6. What was the score of last year's game? This year Lafayette better, Simon Kenton not so much. Easy prediction................ whats different?
  7. Did the SK schedule (or lack of) catch up to them? Or was Ryle that much better?
  8. Ridder opens up the offense for Sam Taylor. Two St X teams, one with Ridder and one without. The one with Ridder is pretty darn good
  9. A Simon Kenton fan making fun of Trinity's schedule???? I've heard it all now. If Simon Kenton played that schedule they would be looking at least five solid losses. After the first four beat downs how much team would they have left? Like to see Simon Kenton cross the river to play a Cincinnati power house. Never happen, as long there was a 1A or 2A team available to play. I'm not a Trinity fan, but no one in this state can make fun of Trinity's scheduling.
  10. what do I know didn't see that Scott County lost...............
  11. Congrats to Male! great victory by a great team! Congrats to Trinity on a great season too, lot of great victories This was for the 6A championship. Simon Kenton vs Male will be same as Dixie vs Trinity last year (deer in headlights) but Scott Co vs Male - Scott County will not be intimidated - still see big Male victory
  12. If it's dry, its a game! If it's wet not at all. X is one of the best when dry, water is their kryptonite.
