First game in December Bo Co had a 27-9 lead at halftime. Montgomery came out in the 3rd outscoring Bourbon 32-12. The final was Montgomery 57, Bourbon 56. The second game was played on February 9th and Montgomery pulled off another victory 64-60. Tonight the teams match up in the 40th District Tournament at GRC High School. Tip off is at 7:30. Can the Lady Indians beat the Lady Colonels a third time or is Bourbon County advancing to the District championship?

I'm assuming the other assistants were asked and didn't want the job. The administration and district have to go through a process to hire a new coach. Therefore, AD just didn't hand it to his son. You all should get the whole story before you start assuming.

Don't underestimate Bracken Co. Coach Kelsch will be ready to take on Mason Co. in 39th district tournament. Only lost to the Lady Royals by 4 in early December.
