If that is the case, he is gone. All it takes is one team to fall in love with his 44 inch vertical or whatever it was. It is crazy to me the dude hasn't played in an organized game in over a year and still will get drafted round 1. I am slightly surprised a team would take him round 1 with not a ton to go on. No matter what happens, good luck to the young man. Make the best decision for himself, whichever that may be.

This one really makes me scratch my head a little bit. It is something that only insiders in his camp and the NBA probably know. On one end he may slide to the 2nd round which is no guaranteed contract. But, if there are one of these teams like the Lakers who have 2 first round picks, they may have told him we are taking you if you are still there at 29 or whatever that pick is. I think that is the mystery. If he knows he is a first round...

Tomorrow at 11:59 is the deadline to withdraw from the draft, so what does everyone think Diallo will do? From all I am reading he is slated to be taken late 1st - early 2nd round. Does he come back as this is a strong class and next year doesn't look to be as strong of a draft class, so they are saying. Or does he stay in and hope he sneaks into the guaranteed contract?

Dante was the recipient of the Fox 19 Athlete of the Year award last week and last night he received male athlete of the year award from Cincinnati Enquirer. Beat out Bolden of Colerain and another young man from Loveland, I think, but do not remember his name. All 3 very deserving of the award based on accomplishments but what an honor for Dante. Congratulations Dante, a very special athlete but an even better young man. Can't wait to...

The fact the you think those things are so similar is something I do not understand. You are so off base with my comments that it isn't even funny. There is no comparison to any of the things I said to what you are relating them to.

At the end of the day, I completely agree with both of you it is old and tiresome when it happens. What bothers me so much is nothing that I said hints that I was saying anything negative about the kid, the pick he made, or anything about how he should have picked UK over any other school. He picked what he was comfortable with, no harm there.

Which is what is bothering me, because I never said anything of the sort? I never said he didn't care about any of those things, simply stated that, in my opinion, if winning was higher on the priority list I do not think he would have picked Texas. 100% accurate statement. Maximum scoring and being "the guy" would not happen at UK or Duke so it makes sense he went to Texas to be that.

Which is the point I am trying to make I never said any of the things that you accused me of saying so I don't know why Kentucky fans need to quit acting like me. You are basically accusing me of thinking UK is the only school a kid should choose and anyone that doesn't is an idiot! Never once was my post anything close to that. Never once did I say he should have come to UK. I'm trying to figure out where I said something so terrible that I...

Anyone see Lavar's most recent controversy on the Cowherd Show? It was really hard to watch, and the dude was such a snake.

I don't think it has anything to do with him choosing Kentucky or not choosing Kentucky. Sounds like you are quick to point out something that isn't there! Hiding your own insecurities, maybe? I meant nothing about him picking Kentucky over Texas, the point I was making, which is 100% accurate and has nothing to do with my fandom of UK is that if winning was near the top of his list he would have chosen Duke or Kentucky over Texas. Also, please...

Kind of surprised he didn't follow some of his best buds to UK. Also not surprised because he has no threat of anyone playing over him so he walks in the "big man on campus" Still think if he had any interest in the college game and winning a title he would not have gone this way. I think he's looking for maximum scoring, maximum exposure as the main piece on a team to improve his draft stock and there is nothing wrong with that in this one...

Coaching staff decision last year. Needed to get more athletic at DE and Nick has a good frame on him, strong, and athletic and he really played well at that spot once he settled in

Yes he does, he is going to be a really good one for Cooper! And I do believe his dad is Jeremiah Sr. For anyone familiar with the Cooper program he reminds me of the QB who led Cooper to a state runner up, Tyler Morris. Excited to see what the young man can do!

Varsity is obviously a stretch for this young man but JV is a definite possibility and that is Jeremiah Lee (Incoming Freshman) at Cooper next year. Led the Union Jags to a Super Bowl last year and has a lot of athletic ability

You mentioned Schlarman for Cooper but another name to keep an eye out for is Nick Myers from Cooper. He will be a 3 year starter his senior year and made the transition from OLB to DE mid way through the year last year and in 3 games I believe he had 4 sacks

I do know that they picked up Cooper in their non district schedule at the end of the year which should be a very good matchup for both teams!

I don't think it is geographically centered, but that is just my opinion. Also, even if UK makes the SEC Championship Game it is played in a big indoor stadium at a neutral location like Atlanta or Jacksonville or something like that so the facility would not be needed

Very nice of you! From all that I am hearing they expect Dante to come in and compete day 1 for some playing time but also that they will not hesitate to Red shirt him if they feel he needs an extra year! Either way, I expect to be hearing that name quite often in the Sycamore media guide

Summer baseball and summer basketball is excused for June. I don't think it is any different going 4 days a week for 2 hours than 3 days a week for 2.5-3 hours.

I am not sure if he is playing but I do know he is going up a little early. I think it is more of a "we'd rather you not play" kind of thing so he doesn't risk injury if he isn't playing. I have not confirmed yet if he is playing or not yet, though. Update!!!!!! Just confirmed Hendrix is not playing because he doesn't want to risk injury. He goes up to Indiana State in early July. Confirmed for Cooper: Roksvag (OL/DL) J. Jackson (RB/CB)...

The only problem with that is a lot of schools are getting so ridiculous that they will not allow teachers to leave during the school day, even on their planning. I do think, however, you can hold a meeting after school one day or if you are fortunate enough to have a boss that will let you go around to the other schools and talk to them then that is a definite advantage. The population of kids wanting to play football is rapidly decreasing in...

First five weeks is murderers row but that's what makes Trinity who they are! I love how they challenge out of state top teams every year plus Male! Should be a lot of fun. What do the Rocks have coming back? Are they bringing back enough to be considered the favorite or is this the year for Male or St. X?

Knowing Ryan, I can tell you he is ecstatic to get this job. He has wanted to enter the head coaching ranks for many years, it is nice to see he is finally getting his chance. I know he has learned from some really good coaches, Jim Hicks and Tim Sullivan, among others. I know he will go in and work his tail off at this job, and get people excited about the program again. Hopefully he gets time to build that program back up. Congrats to...

I did see this article, and I know there is always an explanation for anything that someone finds, I just find it a little odd all of these things happening, and then people bring them up and get called crazy for it but all of these things occur. Again, I don't think it was a hoax, it just comes across as odd that continuously these things happen. There was another young lady whose picture was used as a child missing in another state, it...
