I was a server for 8 years at Don Pablos and Brio before starting my career. Its not too complicated guys. It's not rocket science. Some people are acting like it is such back breaking and horrid work. The money is good for younger couples and college students. You write it down, you put it in the computer, you go get it, you pre-bus, you re-fill glasses, you be polite and smile, you drop off their check and cash them out. You can be...

Let me tell a quick story...... You are walking along a plain road that leads straight home. Stay on the road and you will get home with no problems. You look to the left and see a beautiful field filed with colorful and exotic flowers. You want to walk through this field and experience it. Now if you just go straight you will be home, but the field is too alluring. You think "I'll just walk to the field and then go home. No one will know." ...

Paying to park is a pet peeve. I'd rather walk an extra half mile then pay someone to park my car. But if I had not choice. I guess 2 dollars is fair.

The wife and I argued about this earlier. How much do you tip... Pizza Delivery: 2 dollars and whatever the coin change is Waiter: 20% of the bill before taxes. If service is terrible, it drops to 10-12% Reds Usher: I try to avoid them but if I can't, then a dollar. Reds concession vendors: I do not tip them.

I kind of see this. I do not often think about religion vs spirituality, probably because for me, the two go hand in hand. I guess the confusing thing for me is people who say they are Christians but do not go to church. IT seems like a contradiction to me. But it is not my place to judge.

I worked for the Reds in 03 and 04. Ken Griffey Jr always had a smile on his face and laughed like crazy. One of the grounds crew guys had hair like TJ Houshmanzadeh and Ken Griffey Jr used to give him a hard time over it. One day Griffey offered the guy 12,000 dollars to let him shave his head. The kid of course agreed, Griffey shaved his head, then gave him 12 1,000 dollar bills. Believe it or not Albert Pujols was also a very nice guy....

This is a tangled web. According to the documents posted here from the newspapers it claims that she violated the code of ethics. My understanding is that violating the code of ethics should not result in you only losing you coaching job. What is the logic in keeping her as a teacher? All Tell Also the school is indeed obligated to pay her the coaching stipend because, by law, the district has to tell her by April 30th (I think that is the...

If you got something to say, you should just say it. You shouldn't make statements and then leave people to wonder what you possibly could be referring to. Just say what you want to say or don't even open the door.

So who believes the report that came out initially stating Pete slept with girls as young as 13? Keep in mind that every single accusation that has come out against Pete Rose over the last twenty years or so has turned out to be true. He would deny and deny, then eventually when the proof was in his face, he would admit.

mcpapa I think the first few chapters are easier because they are letters written to churches discussing good things and bad things. The other chapters have a mixture of ambiguous and unambiguous symbolism. Its really not that hard if you focus on what is clear as opposed to what is unclear. For example, it is clear that the seven lamposts are churches and the Son of Man that walks among them is Jesus. So what is the message? Jesus...

Not sure if this applies to this situation, but they have very strict religious doctrinal requirements. For example, my nephew was not allowed to attend kindergarten there because his parents (my sister and B-In-Law) have a differing view on Baptism then the school board. So I would assume that someone that identifies as a Catholic or Methodist or something would no be allowed to work there. But this may be irrelevant to this situation.

Court doc: Woman accuses Pete Rose of statutory rape A sworn statement by an unidentified woman, contained in a motion filed Monday in John Dowd's defense against Pete Rose's defamation lawsuit, alleges that Rose had a sexual relationship with the woman for several years in the 1970s, beginning before she turned 16. In the majority of states, including Ohio -- where both the woman and Rose lived at the time -- the age of legal consent is...
