Part of me thinks that in several communities soccer and volleyball is the number one choice for a girl to play. Stufents begin playing soccer and volleyball at the beginning of the school year, and if they have fun there's always club volleyball and club soccer in the winter. I have no actual research to back this up, I'm just throwing out an idea

Moving to Florence in a few days. I wanted AT&T to be my internet provider because I have grown to loathe Cincinnati Bell. AT&T says they do not service this area and that Cincinnati Bell is the primary server. Does that mean that I have no choice but to get Cincinnati Bell? Is there no other company that can service my internet?

In the grand scheme of things there are only 13 available jobs in the whole district.

Click below to the first sermon in my new series over the life of King David's rebellious son Absalom. He is an interesting guy. A question for dicussion... Is it ever justified to hate someone? http://lystracoc.sermon.net/main/main/20951947

I'm going to the movies tomorrow. The mummy and wonder woman are the only ones that seem intriguing. The mummy had very bad reviews and wonder woman had very good reviews. Normally I would lean towards the mummy but I usually do rely on the reviews. Has anyone here seen Wonder Woman?

OK. It sounds like you have a lot more experience than I do in this regard. I probably should not have responded, because I have never attended a mega size church on a regular basis

When the Bible describes heaven and hell I think it uses terms from our reality to try to give us a picture. It's like if you met a dolphin in the ocean that could speak English and you tried to describe to the dolphin how you make microwave popcorn. You'd have to think of things that the dolphin would have been exposed to in order to try to give him an idea. I preached a sermon on this a few years ago. The link is below. ...

It says that state of parenting is weak. Especially when less that 50% of kids come from nuclear/traditional families.

While Lavar ball gets on my nerves, I will give him props for a few things. I actually got this from Stephen A Smith a few months ago. He has three sons that are african american that go to school, make good grades, stay out of trouble, didn't join a gang, work hard every day, and go home to a mom and a dad.

Link below to Sunday's sermon over Mark chapter 9. Jesus is transfigured and joined by men of the past in the presence of men of the present. Its a pretty cool story. I am starting a new series in two weeks either over the Priesthood or a series through the life of Absalom. http://lystracoc.sermon.net/main/main/20939418

So should we just do away with school districts? As in school zones?

Hmmmm...... I guess but there are definitely other people that are impacted by the decision. Especially since schools get funding based on the number of butts in the classroom.
