  1. CCH has downed East Central the last couple of years and I'd expect the same thing tonight. I'll go with CCH 3-0.
  2. I looked it up and yes, that's correct but they do allow even older with some exceptions I believe. Curious to know how old he is actually.
  3. Are you saying he was 20+ years old last fall when he played for Collegiate?
  4. Graduated early. ALL-USA Boys Soccer Player of the Year: Haji Abdikadir, Louisville (Ky.) Collegiate | USA Today High School Sports
  5. If he did graduate then he was listed incorrectly last year as he was shown as a junior. I just checked and he is not on their roster so either he was listed incorrectly or he has moved on to another school?
  6. As mentioned, these are just a guess at this point and without a good knowledge of what teams have in returning players it's hard to say. I believe Daviess graduated most of their scoring so I'd be hard pressed to put them at #1. My pick is St. X as they had a pretty young team last year in a tough region. Collegiate returns Haji Abdikadir (40 goals last year) and some other good young talent so they will be there as well. I'd put CCH in the top 10 but just barely at this point.
  7. I believe this is what happened. When an AR needs to get the attention of the Center Ref they wave the flag overhead. I don't think he was signaling a late offsides call but was trying to get the attention of the center ref to discuss what happened. They did that and awarded the goal. I believe it was judged that the St. Henry player passed the ball which would nullify the offsides call since CCH didn't make the pass. Just my guess.
  8. Don't have any details on this one but East Central moves on in the Colonel Cup to meet CCH on Wednesday night and KCD will play St. Henry.
  9. He did look offside to me as well but I think they ruled the ball was played to him by St. Henry.
  10. CCH goals by Deimling, Wulfeck, Foster and Belton. Lots of work to do by CCH in being able to hold the ball. St. Henry looked pretty punchless to me offensively but did a good job of possession. One CCH goal via PK and one via free kick.
  11. I'd think East Central will win this but that's just a guess on what I have seen traditionally from both teams.
  12. I think if CCH can score three goals they should be OK but that is a big question mark in my mind. I think they will struggle offensively early in the season and it may take awhile to find their groove. St. Henry moved the ball around pretty well in soccerama and has a solid squad. I'm going with a 2-2 tie in this one. Not sure what the rules are in this Colonel Cup format if they end in a tie but that's my call.
  13. Anderson is probably #1 or #2 in Division 1 in Cincy and probably top 10 in the state so that may be their toughest matchup of the year.
  14. Looking at other schedules I'd say Highlands has a challenging schedule as well. Ryle and St. Henry are hard to figure out. I'm assuming their full schedule is not on KHSAA site yet. St. Henry only showing 10 games and Ryle 14 games.
