My favorite way to do turkey or a whole chicken. Outside of deep frying one it's really the only way to get the breast and dark meat to finish cooking at the same time. We didn't cook this Thanksgiving but I typically just butterfly mine, let my better half season it how she wants and then I inject it and throw it on the Akorn at about 350 with a drip pan beneath the turkey. Skin comes out nice and crispy and you'll never have to worry about the...

I'm late to the party, I've been offline and out of town for Thanksgiving so I haven't read the thread. But my answer is that no, they don't have a chance but they are likely the second best team in class 5A. Covington Catholic is just several steps ahead of the rest of the class this season.

I hated seeing the short kicks all night, Johnson Central even started doing it in the second half. I couldn't understand it myself, but like you I can't criticize the coaches for it, I'm sure they had their reasons.

From what I understand #20 is indeed Cody Rice. Apparently he had switched from football to soccer this season, but joined the football team prior to the playoffs. It seems that no one knew who he was or could find any prior stats on him because Ashland was his first game this season. The kid is certainly a great athlete!

In a lot of instances bitcoin actually can be traced depending on how the wallet is setup. My BTC wallet for instance is linked directly to my bank account via the routing number and checking account number for faster transactions. I get what you're saying but most people don't have BTC wallets because they're trying to hide anything, myself included. I'll be reporting interest earned from BTC on my tax return as well, because it's a matter of...

To me this isn't a bitcoin problem, it's just simple extortion. Obviously William would be a fool to pay it.

It will certainly end this year. To say that this team struggles to shoot the ball well is about the same as saying the moon is full of craters. There is a reason Brad was in the game with 8 minutes left in the first half and it had nothing to due with the cat's having a big lead. It was an experiment to see if he can play defense well enough to put him on the floor due to his shooting ability alone.

I agree, the NFL is too rough for kids that age. But, why not just have a farm league for the NFL and those kids will learn the system of the team that drafts them from their farm league team. Rather than going to school and then having to learn another new system, then another system several years later when they are eligible to be drafted into the NFL. I can't see how that wouldn't be a win/win situation for the NFL and the kids as well....

Why couldn't the NFL put them into a farm league, similar to the MLB does? Plus there is the NBA D-League. If we're going to let those kids go pro before they're ready, we may as well let them all go.

You may as well throw the NFL in there as well. If you're of the legal age to become a professional then it should work the same for all sports. If you're going to let kids see where they would land in the MLB and NBA drafts, I can't think of a reason to not do the same for the NFL.

Is Yamato a true Hibachi, with the Hibachi flat tops and such, or do they prepare it in the kitchen and bring it out to you? Not that it matters any as far as the food goes, but sometimes the show is nice to see if you're with a group. In Ashland we have two Japanese steakhouses but only one of them has the Hibachi flat top cooking stations. The food tastes the same regardless, but if you're with a group it's nice to be able to have someone...

With the ideal that JC reaches 5A enrollment and Ashland drops to 3A enrollment, I don't see a scenario where Ashland wouldn't petition to play up and stay in 4A. Not only does it make sense to do so geographically, but also in the sense that it would be more feasible to win district, region and state championships with JC out of the mix. If Ashland was still forced to drop down to 3A I imagine that the next alignment would force them to move...

I had no idea Morehead had a Hibachi restaurant, I'll keep that in mind when traveling from Ashland to Lex. Is it near I-64 or actually in town?

I just see people posting scores and comparing scores all the time to try and determine the winner of a game. That's how the computer polls work and even one of the best which includes more data than most "calpreps" gets those games wrong as well. Go back and look at the Raceland/Paris prediction thread and you'll see where I'm coming from. Had you just posted the scores I wouldn't have responded, but you threw in "facts are facts." Which you...

I guess I should have bolded everything that I agreed with. Last year's score had nothing to do with me saying "great points." The "pretty much feel the same way" should tell you that I didn't agree with all of the points made in that post. You seem to be on edge and analyzing every word, relax a little man. Personally I hope its a great game and I'll admit that I haven't seen Wayne County play this season, which is why I asked questions...

The bolded is the only thing I'm going to respond to because it's simply not true. Not once have I referenced last season's JC/Wayne game, nor the score. I didn't fall for anything either, I'm just giving my opinion, I don't have a dog in the fight. But I have seen JC enough to know what it would take to beat them this season. Which is why earlier in the thread I asked some questions about Wayne. Comparing those scores is just absurd though,...

That's a terrible way to predict the outcome of a game. Scores alone don't tell the whole story, particularly early season scores.

Great points and I pretty much feel the same way. I was unable to attend Ashland's win over JC in the regular season, but was at the game Friday, not to mention I've seen JC a lot over the past few years. This is probably the largest, most physical JC team I have seen yet. On top of that, they're really fast for their size. Ashland has athletes and speed all over the field, which is what kept them in Friday nights game for 3 quarters....

Oh my, a few months back my mom got food poisoning from Ponderosa. I was like why did you even go there in the first place and she said Bill (my stepdad) wanted to go there. Unfortunately Bill has had dimentia for the past couple of years and Ponderosa is certainly not a place he would have ever wanted to go eat in years prior. I never said the gas station rib sandwich was good, just that it's comparable to the mcrib, which I hate! :lol2:

Haha I only tried it once. Due to having a small landscaping business most of my lunches come from gas stations, since we're there to fuel up the equipment anyway. We typically don't stop at speedways for that reason because they just have burgers and such that sit on warming racks all day long. The four main gas stations we stop at during the work week have legit restaurants or deli's in them though that have food that's as good or better...

An unappreciative clown at that. Lavar still says that the shoplifting charge was no big deal. Hopefully the kids appreciate what President Trump did for them more than Lavar does. Trump responded to Lavar's comments today by saying he should have left them in jail.

Personally I hate the McRib and I'm not sure what kind of meat it really is, tastes nothing like any pork I've ever cooked. But for anyone in NKY looking for something similar try checking Speedway gas stations. Here in the Ashland area they have a rib sandwich in their warming racks, they're like 2 for $3 or somthing like that.
