We seem to have a similar highlight, hah. The highlight of my career was stealing the ball from OJ Mayo at the Ashland YMCA, after putting on a dribbling show he tried to bounce the ball of my forehead but I took it and headed to the basket, passed it of to someone else and Marquese Dawson blocked their layup. I'll take it considering OJ was trying to make me look a fool but didn't succeed.

While there is nothing concrete to support this line of thinking (and there likely never will be) I do believe that we have hacked into their system well enough that we have as much control over where and when the missiles blow up as the North Korean's do. It was mentioned by a computer programmer just prior to their last missile launch that the US had the ability to get into North Korea's missile launch systems and detonate it in flight or...

I seriously doubt it unless they get assistance from other nearby counties. Even at that most of the counties around Pike County are rural and likely have much less officers than Pike County. You would likely have to go all the way to Lexington or Ashland to find a police department that even has enough staff to be able to offer Pikeville assistance.

Typically at 225-250 throughout the cook 12 or so hours is about when mine finish. This is the first hot and fast cook I've done with a shoulder and was really surprised with the results. Just as tender as a low and slow but the skin came out like cracklin's, you cant see that from the pictures because I turned the shoulder over when I let it rest, the skin is actually on the bottom. Any large chunk of meat is pretty much done when it's done...

The first 2-2.5 hours I ran it around 250 so it would have an opportunity to take some smoke. Then I gradually let the grill run up in temp until it hit about 350 and locked it in there. I was still surprised at how quick it cooked, but they all cook different so maybe there was a little luck involved as well.

Ashland PD has been doing this for a while now. Really great idea, I think they call it a safe exchange zone. In Ashland I don't believe that the police actually come out and observe the transaction, however it is done in front of the police station and is monitored by camera. I picked up a couple of Kayaks in D.C. last year from a craigslist seller and we met up at one of the police departments. Works great for all parties involved in the...

It actually turned out great and was still super tender. It hit an internal temp of 205 in about 6 1/2 hours, I let it rest for about an hour and pulled it. It cruised right through the stall without wrapping it at all and had a great bark all around and skin on the top side that was just like cracklin's that you get from a whole pig cook. The only thing that was odd about the cook is that the meat was red nearly all the way through kinda...

When I was right out of high school I watched a car blow through a redlight and hit a metal lightpost. After hitting the post the car was still at full throttle and burning rubber. Turned out that the guy had a heart attack and his foot was stuck on the accelerator. Had to bust a window out of his Ford Explorer to get to the ignition shut off while waiting on the paramedics that other witnesses had called. The paramedics arrived quickly and I...

Anyone ever turbo smoked a picnic shoulder? I thought the wife bought a ham for dinner tonight, I was going to smoke it slow for about 5 hours, putting in on around noon. When I pulled it out of the fridge it was NOT a ham hah. Turns out it's a 10.5lb picnic shoulder. I got it on around noon and and debating whether to crank the temp up on it to try and get it done around 7 or bite the bullet and pull it off before bed and eat it tomorrow.

I would stay away from anything that has a rebuilt title due to water damage. There are so many electronics in vehicles today that there is a lot that can go unnoticed with water damage until it actually becomes a problem. As far as a rebuilt title due to an accident, as long as the frame or unibody wasn't bent, I'd say you would be okay. Even if the frame was bent, you may still be okay as long as it was straightened or replaced by a reputable...

Correct and once people realize they will be caught and prosecuted, the bomb threat's would stop quickly.

Obviously if there is a bomb threat you have to treat the situation that there really is a bomb and clear the area. After that is done you go on about your day and find the person who made the threat and incarcerate them. Pretty sure it's a felony and surprisingly enough, the person who makes the threat is generally caught.

    1. No, a lot of schools lose money on athletics, so I have no issue contributing to help them at least break even. 2. Not if I'm thirsty. 3. My wife does most of the shopping which helps save us a ton of money. I do handle most of the meat purchases and buy from a local butcher, but their prices are just as reasonable or better than Kroger. 4 and 5. This is where I am cheap. I essentially have a small theater in my home with access to...

This thread has taken a hilarious turn. I'm not one for participation trophies and while at first thought that appears what these type of rings are. However, take a look at it this way and see whether you think it's good or bad. By making a bowl game these kids (in general) helped make their school quite a bit of extra cash, so why not reward them with something that carries monetary value? Some of the kids will keep their rings because either...

Typically bring my own, otherwise it's typically gas station food when we stop to fuel up the equipment. Suplex Taco's in Ashland has the best gas station food you will ever eat by the way hah. Occasionally when we know we have some extra free time and are about done for the day we will hit up a Chinese buffet and let the business pay for it.

North Korea and their leader are in a world of poo at the moment. Either they and Kim back off from the nuclear program or they will most likely see the wrath of what the US military is capable of. Either scenario is bad for their government as backing off would admit defeat and going to war would likely mean there is no more North Korea. At this point I can't see China helping them and hopefully North Korea knows that and will accept it as what...
