  1. I give up! You guys win!! Combs is a baseball genius! He is Casey Stengel reincarnated. His impressive tenure in the 10th say's it all!!!
  2. I wouldn't expect you to know me. But I guarantee your boy Todd Asalon knows who I am. Same with Dizzy, Shartzer, and that new guy Billy.
  3. Gladly. I grew up down south and played in a program that you read about in USA Today every year. Then my family moved to KY and I played in the State Tourney my junior and senior year at a school you are probably jealous of. Then I played D1 in a mid-level conference. Was never drafted but I was offered a roster spot with the Freedom which I turned down. How bout you Clubby?
  4. He doesn't live and breath baseball every day. Baseball is a big part of his life for three hours a day, four months out of the year. Here is a quick list of real baseball guys that live and breath it everyday: Buford Sanders- Have you seen his squad run the hidden ball trick after a sac bunt? Genius! Matt Tyner- He has made a lot of noise in two short years. With mostly Freshman and Sophomores. Brian Green- I would pay money just to listen to him talk about how to lead off second. These are real BG's. Combs doesn't even know how to put down a batters box (and that's a fact).
  5. If all these schools wanted him, why did he end up at wolf? 80% of that HOF is mediocre. I was just on their web site and I was laughing at some of the guys they put in there. For real if you think that's an elite group of baseball knowledge then I can't help you. That HOF is nothing but a good ol boys network. Your boy Phil is in their as a umpire!!
  6. You got me. For real you got me. Touche. So actually, I guess it would have been the 3rd grade.
  7. Look at the names on that list and then tell me mediocre doesn't get in.
  8. Dude, they let just about anybody in that HOF. It's really not that elite company.
  9. You can name any team that that dude has coached and I guarantee I could have started as a 6th grader. And I could have started on your little club team when I was in the 5th.
  10. You are right, he is awesome! That's why all the good programs want him.
  11. Combs is mediocre on his best day. Not really a great baseball mind.
  12. Where was the batter supposed to be? He just hit the ball. So he ran to first. They caught the ball. So he stopped running. Where was he supposed to be?
