In a van down by the river!
  1. Who does he play for during the summer? And congrats on him getting a scholarship! Do you know where he is going?
  2. Being a CC fan I have to throw out a name. We've played Cooper twice and both times their center fielder Carr has flat out crushed the ball. Just this past Saturday he hit two homeruns (one to straight away center field) and he also doubled. Kid has got a cannon for an arm to. I talked to some parents after the game and they said he's having a heck of a year. Glad to see Walsh starting to hit the ball again to. He had a great day at the plate against Cooper!
  3. After being down 2-0 through 5 innings, Jags rally for a nice comeback win!
  4. Errors are part of the game. Believe me, we've had our share of them. This was just one game, but it was a big win for our program. That's great that he keeps stats for Baseball, Football, Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Volleyball, Swimming, Track, Wrestling, Darts, Syncronized Swimming, Chess, Cornhole, and whatever else. News flash....this isn't about you or the guy who keeps stats.. it's about giving props to the kids. Like i said...errors happen. You have to make plays to make up for those errors. It did'nt happen
  5. Wow..That's it? I was expecting something better than that TOG. Nice try though:thumb:
  6. Story of this game was Junior pitcher Hunter Dunn who pretty much shut down the Colonels batters. Solid defense along with great pitching by Dunn and Doerman.
  7. Collins and Carr continue to hit the ball well. Both had a couple of hits with both hitting triples.
  8. Solid pitching and timely hitting. Hathorne crushed the ball today! Pitchers from both sides really didn't have much of a strike zone to work with today. Collins with a great catch in the outfield with 2 outs to seal the win for the Jags.
  9. It is early, but I have been impressed with the young players from Holy Cross this year. They have a bright future ahead of them. Speaking of HC, I got a chance to talk to Tiberi after the Cooper game. I don't really know the kid , but he made a huge impression on me! I've never met a more humble kid. Wish nothing but the best for him.
  10. Other than the obvious, which players have impressed this year so far?
  11. It's still early in the season. The story of the game was errors. Just can't make those kind of errors. When Collins gets in the rotation that will help. Carr is a solid leadoff hitter who can run on you.
  12. No, your right. Should be a fun year! It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. Can't wait. Now, it just needs to warm up a bit so they can get some games in!
