Well...he was Magic...his 75% is 150% better than almost everyone else. I still say he wasn't at his peak, but even that is still darn good.

True, but he had already sit at least one season if I'm not mistaken and was "rusty". He wasn't at his peak.

That's what he wanted to get and his wife hated the color. Ended up with a silver one with an optional stripe package that's pretty sharp, and optional blacked out rims. The blue one did have the magnetic suspension control package, the one he bought doesn't, but he said it wasn't something he really wanted anyway. Something that surprised me was how well "mannered" the suspension was. It wasn't bone jarring stiff and was more comfortable...

For someone to even remotely think GS would win a series against the 92 DT...they would either have to be in the running for the dumbest (or at least the least informed) person on earth, or high. Those players couldn't do today what they did? Oh my gosh. An argument could be made some of those guys could do MORE with the way the rules are/games officiated today. Now, a current dream team against the 92 team? Well, lets not forget that...

...and just took me for a ride. 6.2 liter, 455 hp, 0-6 of 4 seconds. And yes, we did a 0-60...and it was FAST. Also did a rolling start, went from about 20 mph to 90...pretty much in the time it took me to say "oh man". The SS is the model just below the top of the line ZL1, with the supercharged 6.2 liter, pushing 200 more horse power. I'm not sure what one would do with that much more hp...on the street anyway. The SS is eye opening...

The government should have only 2 jobs when it comes to health care: Try to create policies/incentives to help keep the cost of health care down...that's why we are in the mess we are in now, health care costs are increadlibly expensive and many times needlessly so; help those with health care that can't (not those that won't) help themselves. I'm not sure why the original AHCA was written, or why government got involved the way it did in...

Well I can guarantee if little Timmy is at at a coach pitch little league game and he runs over to mommy and latches on...he better be the mentally strongest kid on the planet. Unfortunately I highly doubt that he would be.

From the standpoint a job as a basketball coach, not taking anything else into consideration, I think he's probably better off where he is. Just my personal opinion. Now I'm sure there's a blue million other factors that I'm not aware of that would come into play in making a decision like that, so my opinion is specifically concerning the BS job and potential of the program.

My driver woes continue. Another summer without breaking 80 yet. Walked 9 last night...another 42 which is becoming common place. I just can't get in position off the tee. Not only usually fairly short, but short AND crooked. I should on average be hitting the ball 25 yards further than I do off the tee. I think I am going to break down and go get a lesson or two, just focusing on hitting driver. What I'm doing isn't working.

And to add...she states in the article that she does it because she believes breast milk to be the best for her daughter and healthy. Ok...but if that's the case she can drink breast milk from a sippy cup that has been pumped. I think that shows it's more about what mommy enjoys...she for whatever reason enjoys breast feeding and doesn't want to stop it. She even stated her daughter will decide when to stop breast feeding and she will...

Something else too. When a 6 month old is hungry and or it's time to feed if on a feeding schedule, you have to feed him/her then and there, wherever you might be. I think we all realize that. 6 years old? They can wait a little bit. So even if this odd lady is breast feeding her kid at this outlandish age, there was absolutely no need to do it in a public park. That feeds in to the creepy factor and what RTS said about maybe being...

Care to share where I may find the bolded? I have a hard time seeing this. So, if Tommy QB gets on Twitter and tweets out to Billy and Joe WR, Sam TE, Justin and Timmy RB and 5 guys on the OL, and says "5:00 at the park, going over our passing plays", that's illegal? If that's the case I see in no way is that enforceable nor can a coach be held accountable for that.

Yes, this I know I'd argue the Polanski case is much different than this one. Conn defrauded the government out of millions, possibly hundreds of millions of dollars. They want him. Had Polanski done that I believe there is a great possibility he would have ended up back on our shores. But, I actually believe Conn will try to sneak back in at some point in time, and they will be waiting for him. That's my thought.

Well, if you want to live the rest of your life looking over your shoulder wondering at any time is someone going to knock your door down and drag you back to the states...I don't know?:idunno: And if they do drag him back...that 12 years sentence that probably would have been no more than about 3 1/2 (if that) is now going to be a whole lot more if/when they do get him here. And if he actually is outside the country, I personally believe he...

Lets say you have a buddy that has a substance issue...let's just say alcohol, though could be other substances as well. This issue is seriously affecting their health/life. How do you go about making them aware there's an issue and they need to change what they are doing or get some help?

Arrogant people do stupid things all he time because of that very arrogance. I'm not sayng the guy is a drooling vegetable who can't spell his name. But if he has indeed escaped the country and has now contacted the media and telling his story, then that was very stupid of him, unless he wants to get caught. The authorities probably had no idea where he was and were scrambling to try and find out where he was. I mean, evidently they still...

The stupid part is contacting the media and in essence "rubbing it in" that he escaped. The smart thing to do would have been to shut up, lay low and try to leave everyone guessing, but he's too full of himself he couldn't wait to tell essentially everyone what he did...thus being very stupid about it. The stupid part also factors in with him thinking he could do what he was doing and continue to get away with it. Maybe for a while, but he...

At first I agreed with the sentiment of the original post, that is, shame on the KHSAA for not doing a waiver for this. However, after reading this thread and thinking about it, I have done a 180 on the subject. This "national championship" doesn't have a thing to do with KY high school sports. It occurs during the dead period when school teams cannot officially compete. That's the rule, so be it. There is nothing keeping the team from...
