  1. The entire 20th District Tournament (boys and girls) is going to be broadcast on 93.5 WAIN. The station also has an app.WAIN FM Hot Country 93.5 on the App Store
  2. Best 1st round matchups would be of course the 8/9 game (Etown/Marion) and 7/10 game (Larue/Bethlehem). I've got chalk to the semifinals, except Washington over Central Hardin in an upset. I like how Bernard's team plays. The semi's would be great contests in my scenario: North vs. John and Adair vs. Bardstown.
  3. It looks like its very hard to read on here. Here are the first round matchups: Left Side: 1 North Hardin vs. 16 Hart Co/17 Ft Knox 8 Elizabethtown vs 9 Marion Co. 4 John Hardin vs 13 Caverna 5 Taylor Co. vs 12 Nelson Co. Right Side: 2 Adair Co. vs 15 Green Co./18 Thomas Nelson 7 Larue Co. vs 10 Bethlehem 3 Bardstown vs 14 Campbellsville 6 Central Hardin vs 11 Washington Co.
  4. Seeing the 10th Region super bracket posted intrigued me as to what a 5th Region would look like. The seedings in this are based on an average of the Litkenhaus and Cantrell ratings from this week. What do you think?
  5. Only reason I would know of would be that the others are tired of Taylor's shenanigans with all the "rent a player" going on.
  6. Beginning next season, the 20th District boys basketball tournament will be going back to a blind draw. It has been seeded for the last several years. From my understanding it is just on the boys side and does not affect the girls tournament. This was on a 3-1 vote with Campbellsville, Marion Co, and Adair Co. voting in favor of the change. Taylor Co. voted to keep it the same (seeded).
  7. What's the word on the change coming next season when the 20th will return to a blind draw after years of a seeded tournament?
  8. No way to defend the schedule. It is what it is. In Coach Breeze' defense, a majority of these games were under contract when he arrived. I will give credit to him for doing what he could in some games that were cancelled (weather, etc.). He picked up North Hardin and Bryan Station. I know at least 3 "big time" teams that were attempted to be scheduled after these cancellations that were not able to be done for whatever reason.
  9. Who wouldn't want to escape the nasty weather of the Virgin Islands for that paradise of Taylor Co?
  10. Adair had a horrible 3 quarters shooting and overcame a 19 point 3rd quarter deficit outscoring North 37-17 in the 4th. Kel Stotts led 4 Indians in double figures with 35. Tony Jackson 20 Trace Young 19 for North. Gavin Root also very solid game for the Trojans before fouling out.
  11. North Hardin and Adair Co will now be playing at Cenrtal Hardin in the New Years Classic on Sat 1/7 in the final game of the day. Nice test for the Indians to see where they are right now.
  12. Good all around game from the Indians. Stretched 6 point halftime lead to game high 22 in 4th. Four Indians in double figures Kel Stotts 24, Chance Melton15 and 9 assists, Cam Lasley 14, Corey Melton 14. Tevon Faulkner led Titans with 17 and 11. Ethan Lanham added 15.
  13. Final was 68-64 Adair. Taylor came out red hot hitting 5 3s and went up 17-2 in the first. Adair came back to tie the game at the half and climbed to a game high 9-point lead in the 4th.
