  1. If your coach does not nominate his players then they will not be included on the ballot. This is a problem for NKY softball a lot of coaches do not participate in the state coaches association by attending meetings or voting for players. Lawnboy knows the numbers of how many coaches in the 9th are members its not a lot. Only a few attend the state meetings as well
  2. Up to the coach to nominate up to 5 I believe. Then only members vote
  3. D1, D2 etc doesn't mean crap. Dallis Knotts is playing D3 does that mean she is a lesser player. I don't think you will find many coaches that would not love to have her on their team. She chose to play D3, did she have interest from D1 down yes she did. So don't put much stock in if a kid is D1 or NAIA they may have chosen to go to that college. List do not mean squat on here. If you take them to heart then you will be unhappy with just about every post on BGP. College coaches talk to a lot of players and the bigger D1 schools are not looking at our local kids, they are certainly using our kids to make money at their camps, so why don't we put more effort into getting Kentucky recognized as having quality players than we do worrying about what other people say about a players list.
  4. Sorry phone on auto correct. Should be a whole lot of not loot of and it should be Ford not Foird
  5. Boone in control from the tip to the end. I don't a loot a particulars four WV but Switzer 15, Fiord 13, McGarr 15. Waltion struggled too score the whole game but I will give them credit they fought the entire game.
  6. Red Truck has the recipe for the ever so magical Lawnboy Away
  7. I am not with Boone this year but I am still around with another program. So I will keep it just in case I run across lawnboy. These cans are very hard to come by and I would have to sell for a hefty price.
  8. DK will be be returning to give back to the Boone program helping the young players develop and working with any player in need. Of course when she can between college studies and practicing with Thomas More for up coming season
  9. I won't be a dismissive of what Knotts brought to the Lady Rebels as LadyRebs is. It is always hard to replace a player like DK is. Not 9th Region Player of the Year for nothing. DK has been probably be near the top players in the history of Boone Softball in her six years of playing. It would be nice if records were available for someone to see where she would stand in the program history. Boone returns a good core group of players and the pitching is turned over to freshman Olivia Jackson. Boone should be able to win thier district and make some nosie in the Regional. Ryle will be down some this year with Crupper gone, Conner lost a core group of seniors but still has Biz pitching with some younger talent and Cooper will struggle this year being very young and no experienced varsity pitching. Most people will say Highlands will be the team to beat since they did win the region and that is true they are the regional champs. Notre Dame has the best pitching core in the region along with one of the best catchers in Baugh. They also have a really good player to replace in Laura Finke but return some good young role players. It will definitely be very interesting in the 9th this year.
  10. As far as I know they are. I wanted them to take I have family down around Montgomery Ala.
  11. Dallis Knotts and Haylee Smith play for 18U Cincy Doom Elite. Just won the Dayton Metro this past weekend for the first tournament of the summer
  12. You brought it up name the schools. I see a lot of of pitchers outside the 9th region crow hoping or pitching illegal. Mention it to not just 9th region umps but others as well and they say they do not see it or that the hole is deep in front of the rubber that it appears they are hopping. I just saw a game tonight were the pitcher crow hops a lot and it did not get called once. This pitcher comes off of the ground about 5 inches with both feet once she pushes off.
  13. Congrats on the win to Highlands players and coaches.
