  1. It would had been a waste of all that senior talent if they drew the super district again. The number 1 seed scored 3 points in it's 1st round game last year, not fair to kids the way this is set up...
  2. Very good points made Coach Jackson, the stronger athlete will always prevail. The players who think lifting will hurt their game need to take a long look at Lebron James... I was the strength coach at Male the past 2 seasons and the strides made were unreal. Went from having 4 to 19 kids clean 225 or higher in 3 months. Male's bball team made a serious commitment to the weight room as well and they saw direct results from it. Best part about the off season was no MAJOR injuries at Male the past 2 years.
  3. Forgot to mention Mark Peach- Anderson County, my HC the last 2 years of my career. I still keep in touch with him and he has several CU guys on staff. I feel fortunate just to be a part of this big family. ACS,MALE,CHRISTIAN CO,ANDERSON CO,PRP have all played for a state title at least once over the past 3 years.
  4. I forgot about Brent and Chris... I was the DC at Male this past season and will be moving to Tn to coach at Northeast High, my alma mater and will be the DC there. Going to Campbellsville was life changing for me.
  5. As a Former Fighting Tiger and current assistant coach I am one of the proud Mafia Members. The state is covered with CU guys. The HC's at PRP, Male, Christian County, Allen County Scottsville, LaRue County, Adair County are all CU alums. The DC's from Male and Highlands are CU guys, Mayfield and Lafayette's OC's are also CU guys. The University currently has 2 of my teammates on staff. Coach Finley continues to impact young people through his former players. The Director of Football Operations at South Florida is also a teammate of mine from Campbellsville University. Roll Tigers
  6. Some of you people spend too much time loving your mountain football, 28-17 Yellow Jackets. Bell hasn't seen a defense like this all year and those players will step off the bus expecting to win and will relish playing in that environment. I hope the win over Station isn't giving you people false confidence.
  7. Trinity, St.x , Eastern, Butler, Manual > Bowling Green, Owensboro, Henry Clay, Bryan Station, Madison Central- Catholic was a common opponent that scored 42 on LHS and 28 on LMHS. You really know you're football...
  8. Lafayette isn't 7-3 with Male's schedule... and how many teams in the state would hold Eastern, LexCath, St. x, Trinity and Manual to an average of less than 30 points? You seem like some kind of football expert.
  9. Male is the more battle tested team, but none of this means anything when you're dealing with teenagers... This should be the best first round game 1a-6a.
  10. I know from what I saw this season they have some pretty tough recievers and a heck of a QB and RB. Linemen are pretty big. They had a young enthusiastic coach on the sideline, but usually good players can make any coach look good.
  11. Is this true, I saw maxpreps had them at 8-0 and a buddy of mine said Facebook was going crazy about this kids??? What's going on at Preston Hwy?
