Love how some HHS posters are already claiming "Long night for Cooper" and the "HHS should" run up the score when ZERO games have been played. Cooper fielded probably the youngest team last year (literally and experienced wise) since the opening of the school 11 years ago. Those who fully understand football know that HHS had a good win last year, not dominant, and up until mid-3rd qtr the Jags were in that game. I don't know who will win...

In the words of Aaron Rogers....Relax. I have never been a fan of "controlled scrimmages" which is what I believe this was. It's early and there is still a lot of prep work for both teams. Things will begin to take better shape this week for both as full blown scrimmages begin by weeks end. I am sure the Cooper staff doesn't envision JL simply taking off and running every play nor will he have to IMO. Cooper should be improved over last...

I would be interested if this shootout could simply be a border battle. Make nearly EVERY game a KY vs. OH vs. IN games. You could still keep the really big drawing games with those outside the SW Ohio, Eastern IN and NKY but the majority I would love to see more intra-state battles. Just think it would be more interesting IMO.

Could not agree more! As my previous post stated, Cal, as well as many BBN, need to re-think "what is it that is the ultimate goal?" Win more championships or continue to put kids in the NBA after 1 season? Many get so hung up on "rankings" and "# of stars" instead of realizing that "this young man can flat out play" and is willing to listen, be developed and stick around for more than what basically ends up being about 7-8 months. I don't...

This young man is very very good no doubt but the yearly "what school is Harmon going to next?" is kind of tiresome. Not sure what the repeated change of school issue(s) is/are frankly but maybe he would be best suited for one the big named prep schools.
