Mr. Sixer replied to a thread Sean McNeil in College Basketball
Sean is going to land at a major D1 school if he stays on the path he is on right now. He has changed his body and is in the best shape of his life right now and I've seen him play since the 3rd grade but more importantly he's been healthy. He has had some major schools in to view him at practice and I am hopeful he goes big time. Everyone's path is different and I am hoping he reaches his dream destination.

Know Coach Klieman very well since my son plays in the MVFC. Happy for him and KSU got a very good coach and he will be successful very soon I am predicting. Listening to his coaches show Monday it appears he is being allowed to coach his team through the last 1 or 2 games he has left even though the FCS championship game won't be played until Jan. 5th. which will delay his arrival at KSU somewhat if they win Friday vs. SDSU in the semi's. ...

First, slow your roll. I donít have a dog in the fight and could care less about UofL football, they made their bed in bringing Petrino back and the results speak for themselves. Second, never once did I say he should have honored the scholarships, itís his team and his right to honor them or not. My point was the comments he made last week were encouraging for a lot of players who are extremely good in the state who could have strong interest....

Recruiting is just like dating; until signatures are obtained, that is all you are doing, just dating and you aren't "married". Players de-committing is nothing new just like coaches leaving for other jobs (as the case with Satterfield in terms of how he got to UofL) isn't new. My problem with this particular case is Satterfield just stated last week that "the days of UofL's doors being closed to Kentucky players are over" creates bad optics...

Couldn't agree more. Elder is one of the toughest places to play in the entire tri-state and judging by the multiple clips I saw and comments from several parents at the game it was brutally physical and looked like the Jags were playing 5 on 8 at times. Congrats on them increasing their toughness and adjusting to their games to pull out the win as this will certainly prove to help with being battle tested come February and March. Down 5 with...

Only details I heard were that the Jags were down 5 with 2:00 mins to go and grinded out a win.

Final per Khsaa. Congrats to the Jags on going across the river and getting the W in one of the toughest places to play in either OH or KY.

Coach Day will do just fine. I envision him to be similar to Lincoln Riley, not the same, but similar. Taking over after a legend will be tough but I firmly believe he will get the job done. If not, he will be in jeopardy of a change. The bar has been set high but I'm confident he'll figure it out.

That 5A District 5 should be make for some very good games. With the CCH-HHS and Cooper-Conner rivalries and Boone somewhat getting things turned around it should make for some competitive games to watch IMO.

As he should and not that Urban didn't do this but this could mark the 2nd year in a row OSU let the top player from Ohio get out of the State. I've often said that Ohio players will run through brick walls to play for the Scarlet and Gray. Yes, out of state players are needed and recruiting should be and continue to be nationwide but there is something to be said for those Ohio guys that will crawl to Woody Hayes Drive to play for the...

Been watching Bama football extremely closely for the last 8 years and know them quite well. While they do score a lot of points the rate of speed that they score is nowhere near as fast as OU. I am hoping it is a shootout frankly because that bodes very well for OU. Again, the majority are going to roll with the Tide as they are the best team no doubt but I just feel in my gut this is going to be an upset and I do not see them as a 14 point...

Having coached one of the starting O-linemen who I still keep in contact with I can assure you that Ryan Day is the perfect coach for the job. When Day was the HC for the first 3 games and Urban was not around, the team felt more relaxed actually felt like there wasn't as much pressure and stress of potentially making a mistake in practice. This is nothing against Urban as he has certainly proven results with his coaching style, but the...

My comments have NOTHING to do with rankings. When you are up nearly 20 points you "shouldn't" lose a game. Congrats to Highlands on a great comeback as well as Dunbar coming back from 14 down against Cooper.

Interesting. The two top teams in the 9th lose in the same week to teams they most likely shouldn't have lost to, especially CCH. Both up big early and lose it at the end.

Never said they couldn't put up 60 although their offense is not built to score in bunches and that quickly but they are capable. The issue is OK can put up 70 if they have to and if balls bounce a funny way or OK gets a couple of stops or turnovers, Bama may have an issue. I believe OK's line is the best in the country as a unit and they will give Murray enough time to pick Bama's secondary apart or he will beat them with his legs. Just...

Oklahoma wins this by 10 points or more especially if Brown is recovered and healthy. I know I know, Oklahoma doesn't play any defense. Well to that I say, Bama will not be able to keep up with Oklahoma's offense. Bama played no one, and I do mean no one with this type of offense all year. Saban hates two things, hurry up offenses and running QB's that also have a cannon for an arm. Bama's weakest link is their secondary and Oklahoma has...

The committee got the 4 IN correctly IMO. However, while if you're not in the top 4 it doesn't matter, I totally disagree how Georgia would be #5. Again, doesn't really matter but putting a 2 loss, non-conf champion with ZERO quality wins above a conference champion with 1 loss, albeit a bad, with 3, 2 of which were on the road (4 if you want to count TCU at the time of play) quality wins certainly is mind boggling. OSU beat the pants off...

This trophy should go to either Haskins or Murray. Tua has had an excellent season and while he is the QB of the #1 team I fail to see him better than Haskins and Murray and this is more than the stats that both of these two put up which is astronomical and far exceeds Tua and I don't care if he played much in the 4th quarter because is if he played in all 4th quarters he still wouldn't be close IMO stat wise. True, Tua didn't have to play...

Former Cooper and current Indiana State WR Dante’ Hendrix was voted Honorable Mention All-Conference and to the All-Newcomer team for the Missouri Valley Football Conference. As a freshman he lead the Sycamores in receiving as well as finished 8th in the conference and helped the team to a 7-4 record which included a season ending 5 game winning streak to just miss the FCS playoffs.

I was on it. It was bad. Not an excuse but this film does not remotely depict the true situation. You had to be on it to truely understand. The closest thing I could compare it to is the old Dixie field before turf but worse.

Knowing from first hand experience when Cooper had to travel there to play in the Semi-finals in 2014, this field is HORRENDOUS!! Let me be clear, CCH should and most likely will find a way to win this game but I can tell you that CCH will not have played anyone or at anyplace with worse field conditions as this field makes Cooper, Conner and Boone look like the greens at Augusta. It's mud, pure mud and this is a big home field advantage for...
