The ones with their arms in concrete barrels...lift them into a public maintenance truck, move them to a park somewhere and drop them off. Let them figure out how to get out of the barrels themselves.

Let's take out Russellville, which we all agree needs to be replaced on the PT schedule. Beyond that, PT has the defending 2A champion, the 5A district 1 runner up, the 6A District 1 first place team and another 6A team but their schedule is terrible? If PT could replace Russellville with a top level 3A-6A team, their non district schedule will be above average to top 10, depending on who they can replace Russellville with. -

There are still a lot of good players undecided in the portal. A lot of good big men. Need to land some players quickly though because the pool is going to drop quickly over the next week. -

Now that would be a nice get! He is a player. -
Reds at Mariners (4/15 - 4/17)

Play of the game tonight was Elly making the third out at third base and knocking out a run from scoring by getting thrown out before Fraley crossed the plate. Instead of 3-2 and Elly at second as the tieing run, Mariners stay up 3-1 and are out of the inning. Final score 3-1 Mariners. -
What is the deal with spitting in baseball? Hunter Greene spit more in his 4 innings tonight than I have spit in my entire life, and I am beyond middle age. I get it if you are chewing on sunflower seeds but almost all of these guys in baseball are just spitting. I don't even know how you could make that much spit happen. It's a mystery to to me.

It's all about the transfer portal.

I don't think their schedule is that bad. If they could replace Russellville with a quality opponent, it would be a solid schedule. The options are more limited in Western KY. -
I co-sign FC's reply. Pope talked about wanting one and done guys in the mix.
-
I listened to the whole thing last night. Pope spent a 3-5 minute segment talking about the NBA and played up his NBA history, how NBA guys talk in the locker room about their college years, etc.
-
Disappointed in that but understandable. He would be better served in Pope's system, but Cal fought hard to get him eligible so loyalty there.
-
I have seen projections that he could get drafted in round 2. I don't think he is a fit for Pope's system. Best wishes to him.
-
That's a good get. He was ranked #33 in class of 2022. Been on a Mormon mission the past two years. Flipping from BYU commitment to UK.

My thought looking at teams, common opponents and scores is PT had no chance against Boyle last year. I went to calpreps.com and that site confirms my thought: Boyle Co 41 PT 14 https://www.calpreps.com/cgi-bin/2023/project_matchup2.pl 2024 might be a different story but in 2023 Boyle was on a higher level than everyone else. -
Not to mention that Mitch played up Pope's NBA career and connections when he introduced him. And let's be real, every college player dreams of playing in the NBA.
