  1. I wasn't at the Bracken game but I do know that Coach Belcher played at Belmont and that night a Belmont assistant was there evaluating Allen. I don't think Belcher would run up the score on anyone, but Allen probably played until 3:23 mark in 4Q to allow Belmont coach to see him since they drove a long way to watch Allen.
  2. Please do your homework before you make obscure posts. Pendleton County plays every team in their region except Silver Grove (the worst team). On an average year, Pendleton is middle of the pack in the 10th Region as far as location, enrollment and boys basketball talent. The old coaches adage is you play 1/3 of your schedule against opponents better than you. You play 1/3 of your schedule against opponents the same as you. And you play 1/3 of your schedule against opponents weaker than you. In my opinion, they should play Calvary Christian every year. In 2-3 years when PC is really down it will be a more competitive game. Pendleton and Calvary should play every season because they are regional opponents. It’s not like Pendleton is a Louisville Ballard contending for a state championship every season. Pendleton Co. did not beat Calvary 96-23. They won 96-71 and it took one kid to make 10 3’s to do that. This season for PC is the best from a record standpoint (17-5) since 2006 when they went 28-4. At a County school talent comes in waves. And besides, Pendleton only beat Calvary last night by 25 points while Allen only played half the game and had 16 points. To say Coach Belcher plays a weak schedule is ridiculous. He’s the guy traveling all over the state of Kentucky to play anybody and everybody to prepare his team for postseason. I know for a fact that they were the first commitment to the LexCath tournament a year ago. He added a road game at Newport Catholic 2 weeks ago. I think it was his first year as head coach (when Pendleton was bad) they signed a 2 year contract with Scott County and got blown out both times. It’s not like he’s afraid to play teams or he’s going to schedule a weak opponent to win 25 games a year. (Pendleton hasn’t won 20 games in 12 years).
  3. Allen had 25 in first quarter. 36 at half. Went to the bench with 2 minutes to play in the 3rd finishing with 43. Very efficient last night from behind the line.
  4. How does everyone think the outcome will be tonight with 2 of the Top players in the Region going head to head? Looking forward to this match up this evening.
  5. Rooting for Augusta! Would love to see a picture of the gym right before tip!
  6. Any other time I have watched them ref they where great! Was a couple very hard fouls that they never called!
  7. I hate when I see where ppl blame the refs for a lose. But tonight they played a part in this one. Pendleton may not have won the game. But it would have been a one possession game at the end I'm sure!
  8. Great news for the Wildcats. Cant wait to see bryan and he rest of the team on Friday
