  1. Grant County Spencer Breeden with 31 and Ben Bosse with 22 points. Beechwoods Jack Sullivan with 20 points.
  2. As a fan of Grant County very tough one. GC bench was not deep and a starter out was even tougher. Looked like Hammonds got hurt the first minute of the game as well. The interior game was a war and refs let them beat each other all night. Very proud of this GC team, coaches, and community. Grant county fans traveled well all year. Good luck to North.
  3. Utter 4 and Roberts 4 turnovers each for the game unofficially for each PG. Grant only had about 10 for the game which I thought was rather low. Grant will struggle losing 4 seniors as most would expect. The Fox kid not playing really hurt Grant. He is another ball handler, defender and 2 year starter. Fischer for North had an outstanding game. Grant county is does not have tons of athletes. The program goes through cycles about every 3 years the have a solid team. I would expect them to struggle next year.
  4. Great game with a great crowd. Grant county had several late possession to tie game and could not convert. 3 point game Grant gets a wide open look with under 2 minutes to play. This game was very similar to the last time they played. Grant matches up really well with North in the post and Utter for Grant absolutely harassed Roberts all night. Grants starter that was out was a great defender and definitely would have helped. Overall Grant has played solid defensively all year. Unofficial Fischer 15&9, Anderson 11&10, Higdon 10&10, scales 6, and Roberts 6 for north. Hammonds 14&14, Breeden 14, wills 11. Bosse 2, Utter 2 for Grant.
  5. Another great game at SK tonight. Looking forward to both teams at Henry county!
  6. Wow that is harsh. You could also say Grant County’s point guard was never forced to go left by WV??? and was too fast for anyone from WV to come close to keeping up with him???? WV played off the PG a lot in the half court and let them set up offense most of second half. PG was very gritty-quick and lock down on ball defense. Well done GC!
