  1. Congrats to Coach Salsman on becoming the all time winningest coach in Lexington Catholic history this afternoon surpassing his mentor, Coach Haney. Congrats Coach!!
  2. The 2:30 game has been cancelled. The first game will now take place at 4:15
  3. The Jock Sutherland Classic will be played tomorrow at Lexington Catholic since all Fayette County schools and campuses are closed this weekend. The schedule is: - 2:30= Somerset vs TBD - 4:15= Scott County vs Simon Kenton - 6:00= Henry Clay vs John Hardin - 7:45= Lafayette vs South Oldham Will update as soon as the opponent for Somerset has been finalized. Should be a great day of basketball.
  4. All of these games will now be played at Lexington Catholic High School. Same start times. Martin County is unable to play, and will update when opponent for Somerset is finalized.
  5. This Saturday looks like a great slate of games on paper at Lafayette High School. The John Hardin vs Henry Clay game has the potential be an instant classic!!
  6. Should be another great day of basketball on February 8th in Lexington. Here is the schedule for this year's event: 2:30= Somerset vs Martin County 4:15= Scott County vs Simon Kenton 6:00= Henry Clay vs John Hardin 7:45= Lafayette vs South Oldham

Lafayette will host their annual Jock Sutherland Classic tomorrow night on February 2nd: - 6:00= Scott County vs Walton-Verona - 7:30= Lafayette vs Lexington Christian An opportunity to see the best team in the state, one of the best players in the state, and a HUGE 43rd District match-up with Lafayette being able to secure the #1 seed with a win. Should be another great day of basketball!!
  9. This is going to be a really good day of basketball this Saturday showcasing some of the best teams and players from around the State. Admission will be $8.00 for adults, and $6.00 for students.
  10. This year's schedule has been finalized. Should be a great day of basketball at Lafayette High School on February 3rd: - 2:45= West Jessamine vs Cordia - 4:30= Scott County vs John Hardin - 6:15= Mercer County vs Corbin - 8:00= Lafayette vs Anderson County
  11. The annual Jock Sutherland Classic will take place again this Saturday at Lafayette High School. Due to a late cancellation there will only be two games this year, but should be two great matchups: - 6:00= Scott County vs Southwestern in a possible Sweet 16 preview - 7:45= Lafayette vs Scott and the very talented Jake Ohmer Hope to see you there!!!

Looks like a great day of basketball with some great players, and some of the best teams in the state.
