  1. Impressed with Male. But doubly impressed with Trinity given what Male threw at them. Onside kicks (3x), fake punt, deep throws, costly turnovers. Trinity took over the game in 2nd half at LOS and ran it down Male's throat. Impressed that Beatty abandoned the pass and ran right at Male to wear them down.
  2. Great win for the Rocks. Interesting the "struggles" of the other two 6A powers the first two weeks against "meh" competition.
  3. I was really impressed with Trinity tonight. It is hard to find much to complain about when you beat a team 45-0, especially a big school from out of state. I really like what I saw out of Jailen Reed, he's a solid running back. On to Montgomery Bell!
  4. Trinity will win this one. ROCKS on a different level in November under Beatty. I'm using history on this one.
  5. I think Trinity wins this one by 10. St. X is certainly improved, but Trinity's still got their number.
  6. Watched Trinity play twice today, they are very quick, very long, and very athletic. They may not stack up nationally against the best teams, but looked to definitely live up to their #1 rank in Kentucky. Very interested to see who in Louisville can challenge them in Region 7. Ballard was handled by Moore today (although Moore edged it out by 2), but Trinity really laid it to Moore in the second half, and really laid it to J-Town as well. It's basketball, and anything can happen, BUT I really like Trinity making the Sweet 16.
  7. Just received a text from someone close to situation that James Quick may have torn his ACL. Not confirmed, but it's looking pretty serious. Fingers crossed its just strained.
  8. 1. Ballard (7th region) 2. Trinity (7th region) 3. Scott County (11th region) 4. Bullitt East (6th region) 5. Rowan County (16th region) 6. Madison Central (11th region) 7. Lexington Christian (11th region) 8. Dixie Heights (9th region) 9. Lexington Catholic (11th region) 10. Montgomery County (10th region) 11. PRP (6th region) 12. Moore (6th region) 13. Central (7th region) 14. Oldham County (8th region) 15. Bardstown (5th region)
  9. Has there ever been a team to be ranked #1 in Basketball and Football at the same time? Has a school ever won state in both sports in the same year? Curiously enough, Trinity is #1 in both right now. Is that the first time it's ever been done in KY?
  10. He was referring to Alabama Larry's prediction.........
  11. It is essentially the same set up prior to the "super" district. Every other year Trinity and St. X would meet in the quarterfinals.
