I shot 85 at Merion (played from middle tees...but even from the tips it’s not crazy long). My driver never came out of the bag. Extremely tight, and easy to get in trouble.

Sounds like a great time. I hope to start crossing some of these types of courses off my list now that my kids are all out of the house....just took my youngest to college today. The only two big time courses I’ve played are Bethpage and Merion.

I've done this a couple of times. I've looked at buying food and other grocery items a few times, but the prices are a little higher, so I haven't pulled the trigger. But the same day delivery option can be useful.

I shop almost daily on Amazon. Pretty much anything I need outside of food, I buy on Amazon. Just went through a big flurry of school shopping for my youngest who is heading off to college this weekend. I have had a few issues, but Amazon always makes it right, and takes care of it quickly with no questions ask. Even when they hiked the price up to $119/year for Prime, it's still worth it to me.

I can almost understand preferring Wendy’s Chicken Sandwich. If I had to choose a place besides Chick-Fil-a for a Chicken sandwich it would be Wendy’s. But there’s no way Wendy’s service is faster than CHick-Fil-A....even if you’re the only one in line at Wendy’s.

TR is solid. I don't go often, but it's never been bad, and the steaks are always cooked correctly. I get my steaks rare+ (just short of medium rare). As far as the onions, I'm not a big fan of TR's or Outback's. Those deep fried, battered onions, are maybe the unhealthiest things you can order. Tons of calories and fat, they are a fast path to a heart attack.

I’ve eaten at a couple Outbacks somewhat recently, all in airports. Nothing special, but not bad either. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat at one, but I wouldn’t avoid going there either.

Actually, there are only a handful of restaurants I hate. Serving Cincinnati Chili automatically gets you a spot on that list. Calling a restaurant overrated doesn’t mean I hate it, or won’t eat there. Of the restaurants mentioned n this thread, the ones I won’t eat at are Dick’s (lousy all around),Montgomery Inn (an overpriced BBQ joint with average food), and Skyline (and other Cincy chili places). I’ll eat at Goldstar because I do like...

I can't understand how any of you like Goldstar or Skyline. It's like arguing about whether you'd rather get shot or poisoned.

Another good example. When I first moved here, Montgomery Inn was a place that everyone told me I had to go. I've been 3 times, and left each time unimpressed. It's just another rib joint thats dressed up, claims to be high end, and then overcharges, and underdelivers.

I'm with you. The only reason we went was because my daughter had been given a $25 voucher when she went with some friends during their opening week at the Newport location. My daughter warned us that it wasn't so great, but we figured worst case was we'd get a cheap meal. We still spent nearly $50 out of pocket, and the staff was at best, not funny, and at worst annoying. Plus service was slow. Not a single redeeming thing about that...

One of the worst restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. Food is only ok at best, and the whole schtick of the wait/bar staff isn’t even close to funny. Went to the one in Newport right after it opened, and vowed never to return. I’m surprised it was open as long as it was.

Completely agree on Cheddar's. It's my wife's family's goto spot for family dinners, and it might be the most boring menu in the world. Although, I've never really ever heard anyone rave about it, so I'm not sure it's really overrated. Texas Roadhouse has always been good, although I've only been to the one in Fort Wright, and the one in Owensboro recently.

Good call. I loved Chipotle when it first showed up, but while I do occasionally still eat there, it's pretty much blah. I much prefer Hot Head Burrito's. I recently at at Wahlburger's in Cincinnati. The food was ok, but I didn't love it, and holy cow, was it expensive. Almost $70 for Burgers, fries, soda's plus a tip for my wife, son and I. Plus, we waited almost 30 minutes for our food to arrive, and the restaurant wasn't close to...

A good deli sandwich from a good Mom and Pop deli for sure tops Panera. Panera though is solid, and consistent, if not spectacular.

It's not cheap, but I wouldn't call it "obscenely overpriced". The food is pretty good (certainly better than most fast food), service is quick, and there's a decent variety of stuff to choose from. For the most part, you can get a soup and sandwich for right around $10 (not including the drink, which is normally water for me). I'll gladly spend that over spending $7 to get lunch at McD's, or other traditional fast food joints. $10-$12 for a...

On the home screen for the league, the very first tab is the draft tab. Click on it, and you’ll see a round by round, pick by pick list. You can then click on your team name at the top to see a list of available players ranked by ADP.

Scott has a very good backfield, and will be even better in the passing game this year. This won't just be the Quincy Perrin show on offense. This will be an interesting matchup.

I would guess somewhere near or in Louisville. That's the area where the most Little League baseball is played, and usually where KY's representative is from. Little League is virtually non existent in NKY.

Not to mention the fact that by dropping sports, schools would lose major touchpoints with the community. Sports help create and foster community involvement and interest in the school. Community involvement and interest is very important to the overall success of the school.
