You do realize they’ve thrown for over 1000 yards each of the last two seasons, right. Trust me, Running a spread offense wouldn’t have changed the outcome of any game they’ve played during Wolley’s tenure. They have traditionally run a ton, not because they don’t like to throw, but because they’ve struggled on defense due to lack of depth. They’ve needed to be run heavy to control the football to keep the D off the field since so many guys...

When I was younger, around 10, it was electric football, and any of the Mattel handheld, sports games. My teen years was when video games started to get affordable—-Atari, Intellivision and the games that went with them.

Those costs are real, but I'm still not really sure how adding 12 guys to the gameday roster would necessarily make for better football. Teams currently aren't running out of players, and the practice squad allows teams to keep a handful of guys that have been in the system, around to fill needs. The teams really don't go that deep on the roster on game day as is, so most of the extra guys would just be standing around anyway. I could see...

Even at minimum salary that's adding nearly $6 million to payroll per team, and $190 million league wide much of which will be just standing around on Sundays. Each team does have a practice squad of up to 10 guys that are on the ready, should they be needed. I don't think having 65 guys on the active roster makes for a better product, especially when you consider the extra cost involved. I would like to see the active game day roster be...

I think his career was in jeopardy the minute the injury happened. Hearing it described as "Theisman like", and at his age, it was going to be tough even without complications.

No way. Wandale is destined for bigger and better things. Winning the Mr Football award doesnít change that, nor provide any real benefit aside from another trophy to put on his shelf. Iím not saying it isnít a nice award to win, but in the grand scheme of things, itís simply not important enough to put a scheme like this in motion.

Yep. I don’t think it would be any different under the old system. If Bowl game wasn’t involved in the National Title, I still think players would be sitting out. Way too much money on the line for players headed to the NFL. I still think it’s absurd that so many meaningless games are played a month or more after the season ends.

Currently sitting in 5th ($300) place in the $2 GPP I always enter along with our BGP League. Only one person with a guy playing tonight (a WR), and he's 13 pts behind me. Next closest guys with players in action tonight are close to 30 pts behind. Nothing like watching my favorite team (the Eagles) with a little money on the line.

I'd imagine he'll be looking at least at the same type of suspension. What is more interesting is what happens once his suspension is up. Rice was at the end of his career. Hunt is much younger and entering his prime, looking at at least 4-6 really good years ahead of him. Will someone overlook this very ugly situation and sign him?

Angelina is still really annoying at times, but I don't think she's got nearly as big a target on her now, as it seems like every week, somebody else gives the group a reason to vote them out right away. Now she's at the point, where aligning with her, and dragging her to the final 3 improves your chances greatly of winning the prize.

I’ve never had a sausage ball, but to me, Goetta (or scrapple) is nothing like sausage. Completely different taste and texture.

Incredibly, I play in two leagues, and I've experienced both sides just this season. In the BGP league, I was #3 overall in points in my conference, and finished 6-6 and out of the playoffs. In my other league, I'm second to last in total points(out of 12) and currently 8-4 and in 4th place overall. I've been playing FF over 20 years, and it seems like there's somebody in this situation in my leagues every year.

Shouldn't be surprise. With his injury history and surgeries, I'd guess the days of him getting after it really hard in the gym, and throwing iron around are pretty much over. His workouts are likely vastly different than when he was in his prime. Not to mention just the normal aging process makes it harder to build and maintain muscle.

All you have to do is look at the counties with open enrollment to realize this isn't happening. It's not happening in Kenton County...there are plenty of guys on the sidelines at SK that could start and make an impact at Scott or Dixie. I'd say the same is true in Jefferson County as well. The small schools that are pulling kids, generally have a long track record of success both academically and on the football field.

Number 2 in scoring in my conference, and number 4 overall going into this week, and I'm going to get shut out of the playoffs. I'm the exact opposite in my other league. ....number 11 (out of 12) in scoring, and sitting in 4th place in the top Wild Card spot. I have won 2 games in that league with the 2nd worst score of the week (only the team I beat scored worst). Sometimes these things are just as much about luck.

Bonds Clemens Edgar Sheffield Rivera Sosa I'm on the fence with Halladay. He was the best pitcher in baseball for almost a decade, won Cy Youngs, won a World Series, no-hitter in the playoffs. I think I lean towards yes.

Bourbon isn't going to be in that district. They will be in district with Lex Cath, Boyle and Anderson County, which is not going to be a fun district to be in.
