Different strokes for different folks. There are things important to me that I’m sure some consider a waste of money. If it floats your boat, and you can afford it, then by all means have at it.

For most, not much. That being said, I don’t think I’d ever consider going back to the 7. I’ve had the 8 and now the X and the experience for the most part continues to improve. Of course, that doesn’t mean you should or need to upgrade, especially if you are happy with your 7.

I have done the “s” upgrades in the past. I think I’ve just reached the point where the small incremental upgrades don’t excite me. Also, the X hasn’t really wowed me. Don’t get me wrong, I really like the phone. The Face ID is pretty flawless for me, but I really don’t like how they’ve replaced the functionality of the home button. The new action to close open apps is neither intuitive or easy to execute. I also for some reason take a...

This is where I'm getting off the upgrade train. I've updated every year for the last 3 or 4 years, and I'm just not feeling it this year. I currently have the X and just don't see what the benefit of getting the newest version will do for me. I just got a new Surface Pro for work, and that's satisfying my tech needs for now.

Yep. I mistyped and had the decimal point off. If he were .51, he'd likely be dead and unable to even move, let alone drive.

Yes. And lets be realistic...we have no idea if they would have won their first two games if Mayfield had played. Game plan, game flow, etc all would have been different on both sides of the ball. Mayfield came in and played against a bad team last night, that had prepared for a different QB. What Mayfield did last night was impressive. But lets see how he does now that teams will be preparing for him before proclaiming him the savior.

I don't see how the "kids who are left behind" have had their opportunities "diminished". They still get to play. Maybe they don't win district or region now, but that's not a right or ever guaranteed. Unless the program got shut down by the kid moving, no one's opportunities are being diminished. As far as punishing the parents or the student, I don't see why anyone needs to punished. The family moved, legitimately. He should be able to...

I would think alcohol will be involved in the charge because while he was “only” .51, that’s more than double the legal limit for those under 21. Any alcohol can be bad for an inexperienced driver who is also an inexperienced drinker. This is an awful tragedy. No punishment will be back the kid who was killed, and even a light punishment won’t ease make the drivers life any better as he has to carry this mistake with him both mentally and...

Still lots of games that need to be made up....half or almost half the games for most teams. Plus several teams are struggling with injuries/getting key players back from injury. I don’t think any division has a clear favorite

The kid can't change addresses and move every year on his own. Ultimately this is a case of a kid getting punished for his parent's decisions.

I'm normally pretty open to change, but I wouldn't be a fan of this. I hate to see each team not get a chance to run offense. I'd rather see a tie than have a game decided using this method.

They aren't dead until someone beats them come playoff time. They may be down this year, but if I had to guess, they will still be a factor once the playoffs start.

Newport has had some very good middle school teams over the few years, and if those kids continue to develop, Newport will be very tough for the next few years.

Agree. This is Bell's one big contract for his career. He's gotta do what he needs to do to make sure he maxes on this deal. and staying healthy this year is a big part of it.

Gurley is also a few years younger. I get where both sides are coming from. The Steelers have most of the leverage in this spot though, as Bell is losing money AND time. Bell is at that point where the decline could start to happen anytime, and giving up a year when you've only got so many left is risky (although playing for less than value is too). If Conner keeps playing well, the Steelers end up with even more leverage. Let's not get...

I get the frustration with the hits in the QB. Defenders are going to have to learn new habits and adjust to the rule. But they’ll adjust and this likely won’t be talked about as much as time moves on. It’s too soon for me to say how I feel about the new catch rule, but it’s got to better than the old one. Your other complaints though, about fumbles and TD’s don’t bother me at all. Those rules are pretty clear, and Especially concerning...

I think it’s gotta mean more than just a cameo. Doesn’t mean we’ll see her again, but I think the Sons do somehow fit into the backstory, and we’ll see occasional snippets of the Sons and the Mayans crossing paths.

I can't figure out why AJ gets so much love. A few average performances in a handful of starts in the NFL, and spent his college career as a game manager at a school that hasn't turned out a good NFL QB since the 1960's. I wouldn't be surprised if he's out of the league next year.

Collins getting benched hurt me in one of my other leagues too. That combined with Duane Henry's long TD getting called back was a one-two double whammy.

Looks like Rogers is going to give it a go here in the second half. The way the Bears D is playing, I think he's crazy for trying to play.

I tried like heck to trade Rogers, and when there were no takers, I even strongly considered just dropping him. Didn't have the guts to pull the trigger though. As of now, in week 1, I don't know when either of my keepers will play. At least James Conner took the sting out of not having Bell.

He'll get paid. He might not get as much as he wants, but he'll still get paid. Ironically, his biggest complaint was about his workload. His holdout gave Conner a chance to show that he deserves more touches, which will cut into Bell's workload and hurt his numbers, and may cost him money.

My point in regards to volume, is that while you get a few good games every week, most arenít, and many Of those are absolutely terrible and unwatchable. You donít see NFL teams hanging 60 points on opponents. That happens 10 times every weekend in college. Outside of a couple marquis college games every week most are meaningless, and have zero impact on who wins the title. And there are some weeks that have no meaningful games. In the NFL,...

Couldnít have argued if they had thrown a flag on the play. Lifting someone up and driving them into the turf is a safety issue. Someone mentioned wrestling earlier, and for what itís worth, thatís an illegal slam.
