I can see how it could be easy money. Last time I flew a few weeks ago, I got caught during a “surge” time. When I got off the plane, my fare would have been about $24. By the time I had gotten my bags, the fare jumped to over $50 for both Uber and Lyft. I waited a bit and it did drop, but I still ended up paying $39, which is $15-$20 more than I usually pay. I live about 14 miles from the airport. You catch a few surge fares, and the...

No way Cooper is worth a first round pick. The Raiders are now looking having 3 first round picks plus an early 2nd round pick in the 2019 draft.

Those two are in my top 10. I do like probably 1/2 dozen songs from each of those bands though. And to clarify on G&R, I do like quite a few of their songs, but I don’t think they put out enough quality content to justify how highly revered they are. At the end their music was just bloated, pretentious, and overproduced, much like their lead singer.

The vast majority of the SVA kids do go to SK. They do also feed a few kids to Dixie and Scott.

Turkeyfoot-->Dixie Twenhofel-->SK Summit View-->SK (although they do have some kids that end up at Dixie and Scott) Woodland-->Scott Tichenor->Lloyd Unless i've missed one, all the other schools are pretty self explanatory, as the have the same name as the High School they feed to.

Should be a very good freshman class for SK. Probably the best combined Twenhofel/SVA class in quite a few years.

I've watched very litte baseball all year, and haven't watched a pitch of any playoff game. If you had told me I wouldn't be watching any baseball now, 20 years ago, I would have said you were crazy. I just have too many things going on most nights, and go to bed too early most days to watch any baseball games.

This is the first time since 2008 a Kenton County Schools team other than Woodland (who won in '13,'15 and '17) has won. TF was a very physical team and it doesn't surprise me that they won.

As it stands right now, I think Harrison has an insurmountable advantage in the three way tie as Scott and Holmes only have non district victories over winless teams. So if Harrison wins and Holmes loses, Harrison wins district. If Harrison loses, and Scott beats Holmes, Scott wins. If Holmes wins, Holmes wins district regardless of the Harrison-Bourbon outcome. I think.....

I’ve got the lawyer and financial advisor already set with long time friends I’ve known since childhood and trust with my life. Id certainly take care of some family, and make sure my kids and future grandchildren are set. I’d absolutely move, but I wouldn’t go crazy upgrading my house or vehicles. I’d also probably pick up a second home on a beach somewhere, probably back home on one of the Delaware beaches. Otherwise, I’m laying pretty...

Andy Reid is cut from the same cloth as Marvin. While he has had some playoff success, he’s never been able to win the big one, and suffers from the same game management issues people kill Marvin for. As an Eagles fan, they were always a talented, but frustrating team to watch during Andy’s tenure. And he’s doing the same thing in KC.

There’s a guy on YouTube that tests all kinds of mouse traps designs...from vintage to homemade to current high tech. His name is Shawn Woods...it’s kind of morbid, but interesting to watch.

I think no matter how much you plan, or know about the game, I'm sure for many, all that goes out the window once they actually start playing. Being there, getting caught up in everything that's going on not only socially, but physically, I can see how people can end up making such obvious mistakes.

I hear you. I think what it does is it brings in the thought that you could completely punt a spot, because a very low number doesn't hurt you. Then throw in another super value or two that are often available and you could really jam in the stars. I'll need to give it some thought, and do some playing around. I had already put my lineup in tonight before you brought this up, but I normally don't play 2 game slates.

Mine hasn’t played a single snap (Bell). Fortunately, I drafted Conner who’s filled in nicely. I’m so hoping that the Steelers trade Bell and then I’ll have two top end RB’s.

I don't disagree with trying to make sure turf fields are used. I just think there's more to it, especially from a financial both in terms of cost of field use, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the first round is always held at Mills, and teams rotate hosting this round, because it's a huge fundraising opportunity. Using the double fields at Mills allows all the games in each division to be held at one site, and maximize revenue for...

Agree. When youíre behind and have to score, scoring is the most important part part. You canít manage the clock so much that it gets you out of rhythm. And if you mess around and donít score, it doesnít matter how much time you left for the Steelers. This loss is on the defense. The offense did their part with the late drive...the D has to step up and get a stop.

I heard the conditions were really bad. But again, they’ve been playing 10 games every weekend there since the beginning of August. And with the rains we’ve had, it’s not surprising it was a mess today. I don’t agree its embarrassing, because I really don’t know what you think they can do about it, as the weather, and number of games that need to played (which contribute to the wear and tear) is out of their control. Again, one of the big...

In defense of Mills. There aren’t going to be any grass fields that aren’t professionally maintained and that host 10 games every weekend that are going to look good this time of the year with the amount of rain we’ve had in this area. Heck, there are more than a few high school fields that are in terrible shape right now. Also, Mills wouldn’t be used as much as it is, if the schools that do have turf fields didn’t charge high fees to the...

While it isn’t all Eli’s fault, Eli is clearly just a shell of himself. He is virtually a statue, with zero ability to extend plays, or work outside of the pocket. He rarely pushes the ball downfield, despite having one of the best big play threats in the game to throw to. He’s also prone to fumbles. The Giants have playmakers. I get their line isn’t great, but benching Eli was the right decision last year, and committing to him last year...

Running a fake punt is no different than just going for it on 4th down, And Iíve got no real problem with that. I donít see a field goal as that big of a deal either. Itís not really running up the score, and would Campbell County really have felt any better if SK hadnít kicked the field goal? Iím a believer in not piling on and running it up, but this really doesnít bother me at all.
