  1. I agree, he has worked hard to gain 15 -20 lbs of muscle during this winter off season now lets see him bring this to the field during spring ball. He could be a big surprise on the defense
  2. As a long time Bluebird fan, grandpa of a jr. player who watches lots of football practices, I am so happy for Corey to be able to compete in the 2010 Championship game. He has suffered much time off due to injuries and throughout his high school, worked so hard. His reward was tonight with an outstanding performance. I can't wait to see the film of the game; because I know many of the holes for Pat and the other backs were created by Corey getting a helmet on a linebacker. Great game COREY!!
  3. Its amazing to read all of the posts with all the comments about the loss to Ryle when its 9 win regular season with a record that most any other school would be happy that it was a very good year . Let us fans all not forget that the ultimate goal at the beginning of the season is to get to the playoffs and win a state championship, not just going undefeated. The history of the 2010 bluebirds will be remembered only if they win the state championship not that they lost to Ryle. I am one that always looks forward and having confidence that the tradition will continue win or lose. GO BIRDS WIN STATE
  4. I have witnessed all 10 spring practices and its my opinion that HHS will have a very competetive team but I dont think that they are as strong as the 2009 team. The reason is that last year Towles was put in the QB position with a great supporting group of players and he responded by doing a great job. This year will be a good test for him. The offensive line has only 2 experienced players from the 2009 team and that leaves some question marks on who will step up and do the job. The defense will again will be very strong both at the defensive back positions and a very fast and aggresive group of linebackers. There will be many new faces on the defensive line but their performance in spring ball has been very good. The running backs performance will somewhat be determined by the development of the offensive line. There is 4 or 5 backs that will get the bulk of the carries. (Compton, Streeter, True and Bishop) The recieving core of Gold, Gall, Sheehan will be very good. In summary this team has a good chance again to get to the state finals but it will not be easy and I dont think they will go undefeated. GO BIRDS
