Hold on...take a deep breath.....I think you'd better go back and reread my posts...I said BW would be hurting if they were missing both Larimore and Bertke as pitchers... is that Neg abt a player??? 5 posts Abt BW if you take into account my predictions abt NCC winning (I guess you can spin that as a BW post) and the loss of tough pitchers (hmmmm ...makes it 4 posts) I guess in your 1100+ posts you are so much more infinitely smarter.

This is a no-brainer...NCC wins handily..Bertke gives up a lot of hits and runs to stronger hitting and that's what he'll face tonight. BW is too young to play that good.

Who pitched for HC??? Isn't McNick ranked #2 in Cincinnati in its division??

Beechwood gets good baseball players because of their football team Their better players are two sport stars. If BW didn't have the football program they have, baseball wouldn't be squat....good coach or not.

My guess there is a lot of rule bending going on... no diff than a head coach not coaching his team during the summer dead period, but attending the games by sitting in his car and watching his asst coach coach the team

Myerhoff knew he was in deep doo doo w/ pitching this season so he spent a lot of (read as: too much) effort pitching his beechwood kids on the Lions last summer.

Anyone know the status of Josh Bertke at Beechwood? I heard he had a hamstring issue this winter and may have reinjured it lately??? With the loss of Larimore and him, Beechwood will be hurting for sure in pitching.
