Just a few small corrections on the article, Paige Kellam and Nica Berling are not playing this year. it was Taylor Watts#20 taking the pass from Summer Scheben#2 on the second goal. Thanks for the coverage though, at least someone up here is trying to cover girls soccer!

Really! Offsides on the first goal? The assist was credited to NDA's keeper off her long punt and I really did not see anyone stop playing as the defenders were on the scorers hip as she shot and the keeper was still trying to make a play!! NDA had a second goal in the first half called back from an offsides call that looked like a perfectly timed run off a great seam pass. I did not have a great angle on it, so maybe the side got it correct. BB did spread the ball well in the first half and they should win their region. Good luck!

Girls coach to NCC..??is is the same coach that dropped the ball on the girls JV tournament. Whatever! There are several girls coaches that deserve it more, like BB, NDA, St Henry, that play harder schedules and perform well. Have to wait and see who goes deep into post season. Girls player of the year should also have NDA's keeper(Voskuhl) in the mix or defender Lonnemann from NDA.

So, after this "could have been varsity player" was hurt, all the teams you played out scored you by 5/6 goals? Seems there are 11 on the field, so this player must be all world! Just curious, she wasn't hurt at the first meeting, but still wasn't varsity, but could have been if not hurt?? Not sure NDA is the team be beat, never said that. Just responded to another posters ? about NDA's JV last year. Dixie, SH, Brossart, Ryle, NDA and perhaps SK(played the top teams tough last yr, not sure what they lost) all will be in the mix. The talent is more spread out going forward.

WOW, one player can make such a difference at the JV level! If the player was so great, the varsity could have used her.

You seem to have blanked out the second meeting, which was a 5 or 6-0 win by NDA! I also never said anything about, "domination", just stated the records.

NDA's JV team was unbeaten and I believe untied in KY last yr. They won the JV Regional. The freshman team had a tough yr, winning only 4-5 games.
