  1. I heard this, and you know how rumors are, so...... Is it true or false that Lebront Scott is back playing for Murray?
  2. We play Marshall Co. next week. Just wondering from the faithful fans at Mayfield, what they think of the Marshalls? What are they good at? What do they try to do on offense? How is their defense? And there win over Calloway Co., was it a good one or is Calloway not that good?
  3. I will be shocked if it is even close to that. The only way that will happen is if CC has a bad game like they did last week against PT. If they play like they did against Union Co. then Starnes will have to call the dogs off early in this one. Time will tell.....
  4. I say CC gets the victory!!! By how much, I don't know... But if they play like they are capable then they will get the W.
  5. Just wondering what everyone thinks of the Rockets now? I know that the talent level has dropped off the last few years in CC, but it seems that the kids play hard every play. Is it a fluke that they won by that score? Or did they finally come together as a team and show that hard work can overcome lack of speed?? No right or wrong answer, just wondering....
  6. What is everyone thinking on this game? The Rockets played well against a good Union Co. team. But will PT be hungry for a win and will there speed be a factor?
  7. Mayfield 38- Hazard 7. I wish both teams good luck and health, but Mayfield is just too good this year (as usual!!)! Have a safe trip Mayfield fans and good luck from Rocket Land.
  8. That is by far one of the best posts that I have ever read on here! Not all people dis-like your program. Many of us in west KY root for you because in one shape or another every little community has traits of Ft. Thomas. In your community you seem to wrap every quality up year in and year out, and that equals sucess. Congrats on all of your accompishments and good luck next weekend.
  9. My two cents, which you see how much it is worth, I would say the schedule is what comes into play. Say for example a team has 2 or 3 easy weeks of games where the starters play 2 qts, then set the tone the first 5 min. of the 3rd qt, then they play a tough game, it will hurt them. Now say the same teams are played but in a different order, where there is an easy game, then tough game, then easy game, then really tough game, I would say it benefits the team in the matter of being in shape. Beechwood and Mayfield both had fairly easy roads to the semi-state game. And in a game of inches, it sometimes comes down to one play. That is what makes this game we love called Football so great!!!
  10. Good luck to both, but Highlands is just too good this year (as usual!!). Highlands by 28.
  11. Lets go Falcons, Defense wins championships!!! So step up and make things happen!! The winner of this will be the state champ!
  12. First of all congrats to both programs for making it to this game (again!!). We all have great respect for both programs and as a fan we greatly miss playing Mayfield, and having a chance to play Beechwood. As with any program there are the 5% of fans that say things that shouldn't be said, but the two programs going at it this Friday are class acts and deserve this game for their program and their communities. I'm looking more forward to this game than eating Thanksgiving dinner!!! I think it will be close and a game for the ages, but am pulling for the Cardinals. I wish Beechwood a safe trip down to WKY and back, and that both teams leave the field healthy. Good luck to both and be safe!
  13. Does anyone have a sugesstion for websites about TN & IN playoff brackets? The reason I ask is because I'm thinking about doing a winter project researching how other states conduct their playoffs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
  14. Keep rolling Mayfield!! Keep the tradition going of a wkc team beating LHC!!!
