  1. I guess they will have to negotiate with Money Mac to give his #2 to JJ.
  2. I was chatting about this at a men's prayer breakfast this morning. A comment was made about how happy he was that HC hired Curt for the job. This gentleman remembered how Curt played a big role in the growth of his son when he was in Kenton County youth football. I look forward to seeing how that plays out with the ones that are a bit older.
  3. Curt Spencer, the new Covington Holy Cross head football coach, was introduced today at a 3pm team meeting.
  4. He was introduced at a 3pm team meeting today.
  5. Are they printing the face of the new coach on the donuts?
  6. We let Katherine get away a second time?
  7. That's a pretty picture. Throw in some Christmas trees to give the picture color.
  8. Tomorrow is the first night of fish fries! I will brave the elements for that!
  9. HC does have a state championship and another appearance as a state semi finalist. They have a decent home field at Thomas More University and their own practice facility. Once families become part of the HC environment, they usually love and remain very loyal to the program and school. Boosters are solid, although we could use more of them. The AD works very hard to help all the sports succeed. Personally, I think that being a Catholic school is a big plus. Those are some of the positives. Obviously, HC is no different in that there are opportunities for improvement. Finally, if that doesn’t impress a coaching candidate, then maybe having the chance to work with me would! 🤣
  10. I believe, yes. Adam was the starting TE on the 2011 Holy Cross state championship team. He is familiar with both winning and losing situations. Adam followed his dad into teaching and coaching.
  11. Adam is a great guy with a good heart. Regarding football, I observed him personally learning a lot from his dad and being successful in the roles that he was given as an assistant.
