At the football awards banquet this past Sunday evening Coach Dave Schneider read a letter from Bob that said that he will make a decision when he meets with his doctor on January 8th. Dave did say that Bob is recovering from open heart surgery very, very well.

I was told that some type of announcement about the status of Coach Schneider will be made at the football banquet on December 27th. I don’t believe Dave Schneider can be a head coach because he doesn’t have a teaching certificate. Wagner, Eviston and another member of NewCath’s faculty are viable candidates. Whoever would be the next head coach (if coach Schneider does retire) will be from the “inside”. NewCath has a lot more coming back than just Hightchew and Kelly. They only graduate 8 Seniors and only 5 of them had significant playing time. They may come into next year as the favorite in AA.

Isn't this game just for Senior's?

Just a little age comparison Coach Schneider and Dick Lebeau are the same age Joe Paterno is 9 years older and Bobby Bowden is 7 years older.
